Qualifications

Physical Demands: Heavy physical effort is used by the operator in constantly reaching, bending, turning, and moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to handle controls to operate the equipment and attachments. During fire suppression assignments, the operator is exposed to smoky conditions, fire burns, and other similar conditions.
Work Environment: Work is performed in all types of weather, often in an open driver's seat on hills, slopes, grades, rolling surfaces, and forests. The operator is subject to noise, vibration, dust, dirt, and fumes from the motor and exhaust and to smoke from wildfires.
This is a primary firefighter position under the special retirement provisions of 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) (CSRS) and 5 U.S.C. 8412(d) (FERS). The position is subject to maximum entry age (MEA) requirements. What we're looking for...
* High school diploma or GED.
* One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
* At least 18 years of age
* Demonstrated experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift 10 pounds.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Training Requirements
All Sales Consultants must attend and complete a four-day New Hire University (NHU) training program within two weeks of their official start date. This class may include overnight travel at the company's expense. Various online and computer-based training will be required throughout your employment with Victra.
