What You'll Be Doing: Develop and maintain the MDA Enterprise Systems Management (MDA/SEO) Data Engine using a variety of digital engineering and data management tools. Develop and maintain a database of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools to enable the development, validation, allocation, synchronization, and prioritization of Missile Defense System engineering plans and objectives. Develop dashboards and other data visualization tools to enable reporting of engineering data to working- and executive-level audiences. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience working with the Missile Defense System or another complex Department of Defense weapon system. Active secret clearance. Demonstrated ability to understand a complex weapon system through a digital lens, implementing digital engineering practices. Experience in creating SharePoint lists and other data management and visualization products. Familiarity with MBSE methodologies, industry best practices, and utilization of MBSE tools. Demonstrated experience as a self-starter with rapid problem-solving ability. This role requires a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to balance technical expertise with customer-focused collaboration. Your responsibilities will include: Requirements Development: Define requirements and design solutions for modeling and simulation software to meet operational and technical needs Serve as the primary facilitator in collecting, refining, and documenting requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with program goals Translation of customer concepts and operational needs into actionable requirements for software development teams, ensuring compatibility with the current architecture, models, and tool capabilities Technical Planning: Develop a deep understanding of the simulation architecture, message sets, and philosophy; related software tools and end-user needs; and design of the models, their usage intent, and interfaces with the simulation environment; Participate in technical discussions to assist with near- and long-term planning, ensuring alignment with program objectives and customer priorities Develop and maintain technical roadmap to track milestone deliveries, increase transparency with the customer, and ensure progress toward objectives Project Leadership: Coordinate with the Government Point of Contact, contractor teams, and external customers to oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of mission-critical solutions Lead a team to convert high-level goals into derived, actionable, and well-documented requirements that drive successful project execution Define and implement new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and collaboration across the team Customer Engagement Serve as the primary interface with diverse customers to understand key needs, identify problem areas, and shape program objectives and goals, and build strong relationships to ensure alignment between customer priorities and technical solutions Respond to customer-directed Requests for Information (RFIs) and actively support customer engagements to maintain strong relationships and ensure mission success Problem Solving Proactively identify and resolve deficiencies in the simulation architecture, models, and tools to meet customer goals and adapt to evolving mission requirements Collaboration Work closely with Government and contractor personnel as part of an integrated product team to drive innovation and deliver solutions that exceed expectations Required Clearance: Candidate must be a US Citizen Candidate must possess an ACTIVE Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret / SCI clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph Required Skills You'll Bring: To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications: Education - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution Experience - 15+ years of experience as an engineer with technical expertise in areas such as software development, systems engineering, system integration, modeling and simulation, software architecture, and/or technology insertion for complex hardware/software systems Product Development - Proven experience developing products with regular release cycles and delivering high-quality solutions on schedule Communication Skills - Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with highly technical teams and classified customers Leadership - Demonstrated experience leading medium to large-sized teams, fostering collaboration, and driving successful project outcomes Documentation - Ability to create detailed technical and design documentation that supports project goals and ensures clarity for development teams and stakeholders Project Management - Comfortable building project roadmaps, managing schedules, and tracking milestones to ensure timely delivery Customer Collaboration - Ability to work closely with end users and development teams to understand needs, refine requirements, and deliver impactful solutions Desired Skills You'll Bring: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Software development experience in a DevSecOps environment Experience working with an Agile software development team Security Clearance Requirement: An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
