As digital communications manager, you will be responsible for implementing HNTB's digital communications strategy to effectively convey the firm's brand messages across a variety of digital platforms. In this role, you will work closely with subject matter experts to plan, develop and implement content and create memorable experiences through digital content. Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Sports Designer to join our global Sports design team. This is a hybrid opportunity in one of our offices located in Kansas City, MO; Dallas, TX; NYC, NY; or L.A, CA. Help lead interior design from pursuit through delivery-partnering with project teams to shape winning proposals and interviews, and aligning with design leadership to set the overall design strategy. Job Description
AECOM has an opening for an entry level Geologist in our Kansas City, MO office to assist with a variety of projects including data management, site investigations and remediation.
This position is expected to begin in February 2026.
The successful candidate will assist with gathering and analyzing geological, hydrogeological and geochemical data in both the field and office settings. The field activities will consist of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and soil vapor sample collection, geological logging and interpretation, and the oversight of subcontractors including laboratories and excavation and drilling companies. The office activities will involve preparation of investigation reports.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Conducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, surface water, groundwater, and remediation system data; soil logging; and fluid level gauging.
Oversight of contractors conducting field surveys, drilling, well installation, development operations, and utility clearance for intrusive operations.
Participation in a health and safety team performing inspections, observations, and training.
Field document preparation, field data collection, processing, and interpretation.
Supporting office tasks, including data entry, data analysis, report preparation, and maintenance of a records archive system.
Collect and record data and compare results to relevant studies and state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.
Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Job Description
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Technician to join our Remediation team in our Kansas City, MO office.
In this role, you will primarily support remedial operations maintenance and monitoring projects at client facilities and field sites. The candidate will ideally have experience in general construction and environmental remediation/sampling and an interest in hands-on mechanical problem solving). Typical project work includes groundwater treatment systems, in situ and ex situ remediation systems, closed landfills, construction oversight with management of contaminated soil, asbestos, and regulated waste, construction oversight of support buildings/facilities, various media sampling (groundwater, vapor, surface water, sediment, and soil), and wastewater treatment. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs soil, groundwater, surface water, waste, sediment, air, vapor sampling.
Performs various operation and maintenance (O&M) and inspection of environmental remediation systems involving extraction of hydrocarbons, impacted vapor, impacted soil, and impacted groundwater.
Uses field instruments and equipment as necessary to meet health and safety, field sampling, and O&M requirements.
Other activities may include setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.
Documents all field activities and notes.
Performs subcontractor oversight.
Communicates effectively with project team.
Has a high degree of health and safety awareness.
Works within defined scopes, schedules and budgets while producing quality work.
Maintains knowledge of sampling procedures and protocols in accordance with recognized industry standards.
Works under close supervision of an engineer or scientist.
Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. In the role of Project Manager Engineering Assistant, we'll count on you to:
* Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
* Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a few aspect of a larger project
* Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule

**Job Description**
**AECOM** has an opening for an entry level **Geologist** in our **Kansas City, MO** office to assist with a variety of projects including data management, site investigations and remediation.
_This position is expected to begin in February 2026._
The successful candidate will assist with gathering and analyzing geological, hydrogeological and geochemical data in both the field and office settings. The field activities will consist of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and soil vapor sample collection, geological logging and interpretation, and the oversight of subcontractors including laboratories and excavation and drilling companies. The office activities will involve preparation of investigation reports.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Conducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, surface water, groundwater, and remediation system data; soil logging; and fluid level gauging.
+ Oversight of contractors conducting field surveys, drilling, well installation, development operations, and utility clearance for intrusive operations.
+ Participation in a health and safety team performing inspections, observations, and training.
+ Field document preparation, field data collection, processing, and interpretation.
+ Supporting office tasks, including data entry, data analysis, report preparation, and maintenance of a records archive system.
+ Collect and record data and compare results to relevant studies and state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
+ Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.
Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative. Field work will be required including oversight of subcontractors.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
+ As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review and a substance abuse test.
+ Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Basic understanding of environmental regulations such as ASTM-1527-21, AAI, RCRA, TSCA, and SARA.
+ Ability to understand and supervise advancement of soil borings and installation of monitoring wells.
+ Ability to demonstrate a primary technical role in multiple site characterization, subsurface investigation, and remediation projects at various client sites.
+ Understand and assist with site conceptual models.
+ Collect and evaluate environmental data in field and office settings.
+ Prepare investigation reports and drawings.
+ Possesses technical report writing skills.
+ Independent field work and leadership of field teams.
+ Contractor oversight.
+ Selected candidate will be required to complete 40-hour HAZWOPER training or annual refresher class, if needed.
+ Selected Candidate will also receive First Aid/CPR training and AECOM specific training.
+ Learn and develop a keen understanding of hazard recognition, and environmental investigation or remediation.
