This position will provide technical oversight and also perform technical tasks for planning, feasibility, design and construction projects on a variety of projects focusing on Microgrid, BESS and renewable energy projects. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual with an excellent understanding of developing, designing and implementing microgrid solutions for a wide variety of end-uses.

Essential Job Functions:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for completing weekly stormwater inspections and weekly compliance reporting for small and large-scale energy related projects. Project tasks will include, but not be limited to, responsible for weekly stormwater inspections on multiple energy related projects, daily interfacing and follow-up with clients on environmental compliance standards, daily data entry and reporting via compliance software, daily environmental compliance monitoring, and soil and water sampling. Field work locations would primarily include southern Utah and southern Nevada. The job will require travel and occasionally an overnight stay, depending on project location and scale. Required Qualifications:
* HS diploma required. 2 years of experience required.
* Knowledge in environmental compliance standards including State of Utah - Utah Pollutant Discharge Elimination System - Construction General Permit and USACE standards.
* Excellent attention to detail and written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to summarize scientific data in concise, readable language.
* Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, including a demonstrated ability to educate and communicate compliance standards to a wide range of clients.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
* Ability to travel and perform field work (approx. 75 - 100% of travel required).
* Ability to walk across variable terrain, including uneven ground, in all weather conditions (hot/cold temperatures, loud noises, heavy equipment, etc.) for field work and oversight.
* Ability to drive a 4x4 truck over long distances and uneven terrain.
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
* This position is field-based and will require long hours in remote locations in southern UT and southern NV.
* Field work will include work to be performed outside, as a result will include working frequently in various environmental factors (weather, altitude, terrain, noise, etc.). This can include remaining stationary for long periods of time, walking, bending, lifting, and sitting for site assessments, field inspections, oversight, and other field activities.

Target salary range: $25.00 / hour to $30.00 / hour. **JOB SUMMARY**
As a member of the Club Ride Event Squad, you will be responsible for staffing bike/ped safety events, conducting walking and bicycling education, and promoting safe, healthy, and sustainable travel options at locations throughout Clark County.
This work supports regional goals to expand safe walking and biking, improve mobility for residents of all ages, reduce traffic injuries, and encourage multimodal travel across Southern Nevada.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Conduct onsite bike/ped outreach events, demonstrations, and community activities that promote safe walking and biking.
+ Engage with residents, families, youth, and older adults in English and Spanish to provide safety information and encourage active transportation.
+ Effectively and persuasively communicate to influence, motivate, and inform community members about walking and bicycling as viable daily travel options.
+ Maintain a strong working knowledge of bicycle and pedestrian safety practices, Nevada state laws, local trail networks, and available mobility resources.
+ Execute prescheduled community events, open streets activities, bike rodeos, helmet fittings, pedestrian safety trainings, and pop-up safety demonstrations.
+ Deliver presentations and hands-on learning at employer sites, community centers, schools, senior facilities, and public events.
+ Provide basic bicycle and helmet fittings and demonstrate safe riding and walking behaviors.

Establishes and maintains liaison with design engineering staff. Reviews and interprets design drawings and specifications, construction and contract documents for water works facilities construction projects to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.
Provides resolution for technical engineering problems; coordinates application of solutions.
Reviews construction schedules and monitors progress. Provides schedule and progress review reports to the Construction Manager.
Monitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline. Ensures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.
Organizes the accumulation of assigned data for the final project turnover and report.
Initiates and maintains records, back-charge procedures, progress reports, etc., as required.
