Parsons is looking for a Tax Director, North America to join our team! In this role you will report to the Vice President, Tax. You will be responsible for all income tax aspects related to the Company's financial reporting for income taxes, and for forecasting all income tax matters. Additionally you will manage tax matters and develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities, support business growth, and oversee tax compliance across our North America operations. You'll have the autonomy to identify opportunities for tax optimization of US Federal, State, and Local taxes including opportunities for tax incentives. **What You'll Be Doing**
Oversee the determination of Parsons quarterly and annual Consolidated & U.S. income tax provisions, including related financial statement tax disclosures and SOX tax internal controls.
Draft technical memoranda supporting key income tax reporting positions.
Identify tax issues, opportunities, and determine tax impacts from upcoming or proposed tax legislation to ensure our business strategy can be achieved.
Oversee strategic tax planning, including modelling of the impact on U.S. federal, state and local taxes and tax reserves.
Convey complex tax concepts to leadership in various functional areas, including C-suite executives and Investor Relations.
Oversee the preparation and filing of U.S. federal, state, local and Canadian tax returns, estimates, and extensions.
Oversee all tax accounting method and tax credit projects including R&D tax credits to ensure accurate forecast and reporting of tax benefits.
Collaborate with external advisors and advise Corporate Development on tax issues related to M&A and strategic investments.
Represent the company during North America tax audits, manage the navigation of tax disputes, and oversee the determination and measurement of tax reserves.
Establish and maintain rapport with corporate and business unit accounting, payroll, finance, and contracts organizations.
Work with and provide guidance to Tax Managers, Tax Analysts and Tax Accountants.

**Pay Range:**

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Parsons is looking for an Electrical Construction Inspector to join our Water/Wastewater Group in Pasadena, CA. This is an onsite role to provide construction observation of wastewater pumping and treatment plant facilities in Orange County, CA.
Position will primarily work in a field setting. While the work is typically an 8-hour workday Monday through Friday, there may be occasions that the work will require overtime, nights, and/or weekends. Field work may include. What You'll Be Doing:
Observe and document construction of wastewater facilities to confirm compliance with construction contract documents.
Perform plan reviews and field inspections of electrical infrastructure, including but not limited to, motor control centers, variable frequency drivers, pumps, blowers, lighting, HVAC equipment, duct banks, pull boxes, fiber and communications, poles, cabinets, controllers, etc.

Parsons is looking for a Civil/Mechanical Construction Inspector to join our Water/Wastewater Group in Pasadena, CA. The Civil/Mechanical Construction Inspector will observe and document the construction of wastewater facilities to confirm compliance with construction contract documents. Work to be observed may include but is not limited to, excavation, trenching, pipe laying, backfill, soil compaction, grading, paving, reinforcing for concrete, concrete placement, masonry construction, structural steel, mechanical piping, pump installation, blower and fan installation, ductwork construction, above and below grade piping and conduit installation, door and window installation, roofing, and landscaping.
While the work is typically an 8-hour workday Monday through Friday, there may be occasions that the work will require overtime, nights, and/or weekends. The position requires work around operating construction equipment, in excavations and trenches, in confined spaces, on scaffolding, on lifts, on public roadways with moving vehicles, in weather, and in other hazardous conditions. The position requires climbing ladders and the ability to lift 40 pounds.
The Civil/Mechanical Construction Inspector will report to a Construction Manager or Resident Engineer and is required to interact professionally with other members of the construction management team, the owner's staff, and the contractor's staff and subcontractors.
This job classification is intended to be used only if the position is covered under wage determination (WD). This position is ungraded as the pay level is determined by the wage determination of the appropriate California region, primarily Orange County.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide construction inspection for wastewater treatment plant and sanitary sewer collection facilities construction work performed by contractors to ensure contractual compliance with plans, specifications, codes, regulations, and the client's safety standards.
Prepare a variety of reports and documentation.
Review construction documents including plans and specifications.
Inspect plant and collection facilities construction work performed by contractors.
Verify that materials being incorporated into project are per specification and with approved construction practices.
Coordinate equipment and process isolations, shutdowns, and tie-ins.
Assist safety representatives with job hazard analysis.
Observe contractors work safety environment and compliance with traffic control plans and devices; work with contractor to establish and maintain a safe construction project for employees, customers, and the public.
Document and follow-up on actions regarding safety, traffic control plans, and working practices.
Assist in the maintenance of accurate as-built contract drawings
Verify contractor as-built drawings are maintained and correct.
Assist Resident Engineers on field change orders, plan clarifications, and plan changes.
Review and approve final drawings for the preparation of record drawings.
Prepare and maintain necessary construction inspection records and reports as a means of formal documentation including daily inspection reports, photo logs, field test results, force account reports, extra work requests, project submittal files, and individual project logs.
Assist Resident Engineers in preparing monthly progress reports.
Attend construction meetings.
Work with contractors, regulatory agencies, utilities, city officials, and the general public throughout the construction project to coordinate work to be accomplished and ensure satisfactory project completion with minimum impact on the public or OC San facilities.
Conduct tests to determine if work has been done following contract specifications.
Perform destructive and nondestructive tests on metals and other materials through magnaflex, dyepenetrant, radiographic, tension and compression, paint thickness, and resistivity.
Perform surveillance of underground piping to ensure tightness, bedding, and grade.
Validate piping systems, including P&ID checks and hydraulic or other pressure tests.
Perform continuing inspection of painting and insulation to ensure thickness and coverage continuity.
Provide general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
Verify pipe and equipment alignments.
Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
Participate in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.
May administer welder qualification tests.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
An Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, is required. Also requires 10+ years of related experience on field projects, as well as formal certification from an independent organization, depending on the type of inspection assignment. Knowledge of public works contracts may be preferred. Construction safety training including CalOSHA 10 hour training as well as formal certification from an independent organization, depending on type of inspection assignment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
2-year degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, is required. Also;

AECOM has an opening for an entry level Geologist in our Long Beach, California office to assist with a variety of projects including data management, site investigations and remediation.
This position is expected to begin in Spring 2026.
The successful candidate will assist with gathering and analyzing geological, hydrogeological and geochemical data in both the field and office settings. The field activities will consist of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and soil vapor sample collection, geological logging and interpretation, and the oversight of subcontractors including laboratories and excavation and drilling companies. The office activities will involve the preparation of investigation reports.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

AECOM is seeking a motivated Geologist for employment in the Orange, CA office. This position will support the Environmental business line, primarily working on Federal projects. This position can also work from our Oakland or Sacramento location.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
* Prepare technical work plans and reports.
* Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
* Plan, execute, analyze and report on environmental measures in natural systems.
* Apply standard field practices and techniques using basic field equipment to collect samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, sediment; prepare samples for shipping, and complete chain-of-custody or similar paperwork.
* Apply knowledge of natural sciences (chemistry, physics, biology, hydrology, and mathematics) to explain observations.
* Study contaminants and determine how to restore the environment.
