**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for a talented **Sr. Construction Program Manager** to join our team in Memphis, TN! Parsons has a long history of airport program and construction management, we are looking for a dedicated individual with experience, good communications skills and ready for their next challenge. The ideal candidate will be able to tap into Parsons resources but also take the initiative and drive activities for our client.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THIS ROLE: Provides oversight on all on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of Airfield projects ($50M to $250M) on commercial airports. Understanding of the disciplines and requirements to supervise contractors or inspection of contractors' work. Provides coordination with airport stakeholders for performing in a 24/7 airport operating environment is important. Parsons has over 50 years of aviation experience and the selected candidate will be able to reach out to those individuals for support and guidance when needed.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs the overall planning of construction management related activities to identify critical milestones and priorities and or reviews those proposed by contractors for major airport projects.
+ Determines budget estimate and staffing requirement for the Parsons defined scope and schedule of required services to identify variances of actual to forecasted results.
+ Ensures that the services of subcontractors and major equipment providers required by the project will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
+ Establishes the assignments for construction professionals and support disciplines under his or her supervision for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring the progress and recommending corrective action as required to achieve project objectives.
+ Manages and/or reviews the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budgetary goals.
+ Maintains oversight and alertness to potential problem areas and recommends or takes preventive action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.
+ Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and/or client review.
+ Conducts performance evaluations and recommends promotions and salary actions of direct reports.
+ Responsible for implementation of all Company, client and/or relevant regulatory policies and procedures effecting the progress of the Project.
+ Serves as the primary contact with client representative, subcontractors, and government representatives affecting construction related activities.
+ Maintains strong client and community relations to promote project, assist in meeting sustainability requirements and coordination with adjacent or interfacing projects.
+ Manages a team of Inspectors and Resident Engineers
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related fields
+ 10+ years of relevant experience, 15+ years desired
+ Experience in the construction of airports or large civil structural projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.
+ PE is required
+ Field construction experience is desired
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
+ Requires extensive knowledge of construction-related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices.
+ Ability to collaboratively accomplish key Project goals and solve project challenges.
+ Demonstrated effective managerial capability is also required, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to lead a group of senior discipline inspectors and other construction administration support personnel also required.

Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our team for civil/airfield construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting electrical systems and installations, a strong understanding of airfield lighting and electrical infrastructure, and a commitment to ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Inspector will be responsible for monitoring the contractor's quality control and contract compliance for projects of various size and scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and monitor the installation of electrical systems, including airfield lighting, signage, power distribution, and control systems, to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
Conduct quality assurance (QA) inspections for electrical components and systems.
Identify and document non-compliant installations for corrective action by the contractor.
Verify materials, methods, and workmanship meet industry standards and project requirements.
Interface and assist with oversight of sub-consultants performing 3rd party inspections or testing or other services.
Prepare daily inspection reports, documenting construction activities, progress, issues, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve electrical-related issues.
Act as a liaison between contractors and stakeholders for notification and coordination of work that will interrupt normal operations.
Maintain familiarity and working knowledge of contract submittals, RFIs, changes and other project related elements.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local building codes.
Monitor contractor compliance with approved safety and security plans during all phases of construction and report any violations or hazards.
Assist in reviewing electrical plans, specifications, and submittals.
Assist in development and execution of the commissioning plan and processes.
Assist in monthly assessment of contractor progress and as-built documentation for progress payments.
Seeking Candidates with the following qualifications:
Post-secondary education is preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five years' demonstrable experience in electrical construction inspection or minimum of ten years working in electrical construction industry.
Knowledge of FAA regulations and airfield electrical standards is preferred.
Willing to pursue and obtain certifications and credentials related to position. Certifications such as NICET, ICC, or equivalent in electrical inspection.
Any TDOT certifications, OSHA Construction Safety and First Aid.

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. In the role of Senior Project Manager Engineering for the Water Business Group, we'll count on you to:
* Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large multidisciplinary projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity, typically involving a large project staff
* Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
* Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings

* Manage construction phase services such as submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review, coordination, and correspondence
* Manage technical components of pursuits and work with the marketing team to produce high-quality pursuit documents

The Opportunity
As the Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater, you will manage execution of the engineering component of multiple traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery projects including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon neutral solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution:
* Prepare complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects
* Assist in the research to develop equipment and material recommendations
* Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
* Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
* Lead production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project
Client Interface:
* Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects
* Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions
* Provide support for business development or pursuit activities
* Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision
Technical expertise:
* Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables
* Provide input to technical leadership for complex water and wastewater treatment projects
* Drive solutions to achieve project goals
Management Responsibilities:
* Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignments
* Mentoring, and performance management of assigned personnel
Preferred Qualifications
* PE license.
* Previous engineering consulting experience.
* Experience executing multi-discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansion projects.
Minimum Qualifications
* Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
* Minimum of 5 years related work experience

Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking an individual to act as an Owner's Representative, Project Manager for the design and construction of a mix of higher education, healthcare and other institutional expansion and renovation projects. The projects will be in various phases from conceptual planning stages through design, construction, and occupancy; and range in various complexities and total project costs of $5 Million to $100+Million.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple higher education, healthcare, K-12 schools or commercial expansion or renovation projects as an Owner's Representative. Managing the approved scope, budget and schedule are of utmost importance.
* Communicate daily with the client and project team.
* Lead the Design Team consisting of the Architect, Engineers, Equipment Planner, and other consultants.
* Provide day-to-day project oversight and communication with the client and project team.
* Prepare and distribute meeting notes to the project team.
* Lead the Construction Team on behalf of the owner.
* Develop, track, update, forecast and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project.
* Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.
* Prepare Monthly Reports to Owner.
* Assist in plan reviews and inspections with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
* Understand and assist in the negotiation of contracts of all parties to the project.
* Assist and help manage/coordinate move and occupancy activities.
* Review and approve all invoices and change orders associated with the project.
* Evaluate, advise on and assist in resolving disputes and claims.
* Traditionally reports to project executive or principal.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Project Management experience in buildings sector (design and construction of healthcare, commercial, higher education, and K-12 buildings).
* Estimating experience is a plus.
* Ability to interact professionally with internal clients, external clients, as well as in the field with subcontractors.
* Strong computer skills and literacy in scheduling, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
* Understanding of and ability to read plans and specifications.
* General understanding of design and construction process and requirements.
* Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
* History of leading projects through Collaborative approach.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
* 5+ years of related project management experience is required, including ideally 2+ years of managing projects as an Owners Representative, Project Manager
* 10+ years of total experience is preferred.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
