**POSITION OVERVIEW:**
Develops, manages, and/or executes all phases of the project controls effort (mainly cost management and reporting). Typically manages large-sized projects. The incumbent utilizes widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities, and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Lead the cost management and reporting functions on a large construction development program.
+ Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
+ Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.

This is full-time onsite position for an on-going project in Staten Island, NY.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Implementing the requirements of AECOM's Construction Manager's (CM) EHS Management Plan (EHSMP) and Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EHASP).
* Support the CM in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) in accordance with Client standards.
* Support the CM in conducting various training for CM staff including new employee orientations, visitor orientations and Emergency Action Plan training.
* Review all EHS related submittals by the Contractors, including, but not limited to, EHASPs, JHAs, monthly reports, asbestos/lead/mercury/PCB management and sampling plans, waste management plans, soil re-use, hazardous waste contingency plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevent Plans (SWPPP) to verify comprehensive oversight of all site activities.
* Facilitate weekly EHS meetings with the Contractor's EHS Representative (EHSR), and other project management personnel as appropriate, to ascertain and discuss upcoming construction related activity EHS activities.
* Conduct frequent construction site visits.
* Track and monitor the Contractor's compliance with EHASP(s) and JHA(s).
* Track and monitor all site EHSRs' performance including, but not limited to, reviewing the EHSR's daily reports and whether EHS issues are being adequately addressed.
* Perform and submit daily reports of the Contractors' Work areas and document non-compliance with the Contractor's EHASPs and JHAs.
* Review Contractor's incident reports for adequacy, participate in meetings related to construction related incidents, and verify all necessary Contractor corrective actions are implemented.
* Submit EHS monthly status reports and metrics. Prepare monthly trending analysis of Contractor EHS performance.
* Oversee Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and drills for the site in coordination with Client staff.
* Review and manage all EHS Annual Reports (i.e., EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, Confined Space).
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
* BA/BS in Safety, Engineering or related degree and 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
* CHST and/or ASP certification.
* OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course.

AECOM seeks a Transit Stations Delivery Principal in Transit Architecture to join our NY Metro Buildings + Places leadership team. This role will focus on driving the growth of professional design services related to passenger stations, state of good repair and multi-modal transportation infrastructure within NY/NJ, with occasional involvement in national projects. AECOM is seeking a Project Planning and Scheduling Specialist III to support complex, high-impact transportation projects across New York City. HDR needs a Senior Hydraulic Modeler/Planner to join our Water Business Group team in New York/New Jersey offices. The ideal candidate will have a background of leading teams in the delivery of utility management, master planning, facility planning, and hydraulic modeling projects associated with water supply, stormwater, sanitary and combined sewer collection, and water reuse systems. The Senior Hydraulic Modeler/Planner will be responsible for leading or contributing to the preparation of planning studies, development and calibration of water, stormwater, and wastewater hydraulic models, performance of GIS data analysis, alternatives analysis, execution of infrastructure renewal and rehabilitation studies, preliminary engineering, cost analysis, and capital project development.

Job Description
AECOM is actively growing the NJ Transportation Planning practice and is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist for environmental review projects within the Transportation Business Line. The successful candidate will oversee and prepare Federal, State, and local environmental permit application development, as well as, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order No. 215 (EO 215) environmental review documents, for major infrastructure projects within NJ. The successful applicant will join our team of existing AECOM Environmental Planning Specialists to assist in project delivery.
The role is based out of our Piscataway, NJ office on a hybrid office/remote schedule.
In the Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist role, you will support the New Jersey Environmental Planning Department Manager by acting as environmental task lead for a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects at the federal, state and county levels.
In this role, you can expect to:
Manage and perform consulting projects to scope, schedule, and budget, learning and applying AECOM's project management systems and software.
Serve as an interface with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and through business development initiatives.
Serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level staff.
Coordinate, manage, and direct project field and data collection efforts.
Prepare regulatory permit applications.
Perform and oversee wetland delineations and Land Use permitting.
Perform client visits and field activities that require work outside the office and evening meetings.
Develop, manage, and deliver business strategy and tactics, high-quality proposals, interdisciplinary teams, and documents and report deliverables.
Proactively enforce a culture of producing high-quality work and the importance of Health & Safety within the team.
Provide technical support to the NJ Environmental Planning Department and individual Project Managers and support inter-disciplinary business development activities.
Collaborate with other AECOM offices, practices, and business lines.
Support design-bid-build and design-build projects.
Stay up-to-date on environmental regulations, new technologies/processes and industry trends.
Support Environmental Planning Department Manager with technical and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or an earth science-related field or relevant degree that has a focus on transportation, plus six years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
Experience developing regulatory permit applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 plus years of industry experience, preferably with New Jersey transportation agencies (NJTA, NJDOT, NJ TRANSIT, AMTRAK, SJTA).
Master's degree is beneficial.
Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and teams, including sub-consultants
Strong client relationship-building skills.
Existing, mature, and tested Client relationships.
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication skills, including both oral and written
Strong leadership skills.
Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.
Experience with data platforms, GIS and GPS is preferred.
Experience with linear development projects is preferred. Transit or transportation experience is a plus.

The New York Metro Buildings + Places Team is a multi-disciplinary group consisting of professionals across multiple disciplines, including Architecture, MEP, Structural, Civil, Change Management, and Landscape design.
B+P is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to be based in the New York Metro area and can be based in New York City, Piscataway or Bloomfield, New Jersey.
As a people manager, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for mentoring and guiding the federal design team to success. In addition to helping lead design development and review, the Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for client communication, consultant coordination, and contract administration. Projects will focus on the federal sector.
The responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:
Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects in design and construction
Maintain, develop and coordinate all aspects of the A/E practice on federal project
Prepare creative, functional and innovative designs for clients
Lead and manage a design team to produce fully coordinated set of working drawings and project specifications
Supervise and mentor within a team environment. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced architects, designers and technical staff; provide direction to help others meet objectives

Primary Responsibilities
* Lead complex hydrogeologic/environmental field investigations with a focus on complex geological settings commonly found in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region (e.g., fractured rock and coastal plain)
* Oversee data collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation including:
* Field groundwater level and quality data collection methods
* Experience with multiple drilling methods for various geological settings
* Familiarity with design, construction, and development of groundwater monitoring wells
* Developing and overseeing high resolution site characterization strategies
* Using modern Remediation Hydrogeology concepts (such as mass flux/discharge or DNAPL assessment) to support complex groundwater remediation strategies
* Development of geologic and hydrogeologic cross-section development utilizing geologic and geophysical data
* Interpretation of subsurface aquifer conditions on a site and regional scale
* Aquifer testing and analysis
* Development of hydrographs and other graphic presentation of hydrogeologic data
* Building Conceptual Site Models
* Field team leader responsibilities (field and office)
* Lead Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment tasks
* Take responsibility for proposal and report writing, development of soil and groundwater sampling plans, data analysis, site remediation, as well as project and client management support
* Project management support including direction of junior staff, providing technical review, and oversight and mentoring
