* Branch Details Partners Personnel is currently seeking a Janitorial Associate for our client in Columbus, OH. Pay Rate: $20.00 Shift: Mon - Fri 11 AM - 7:30 PM Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Supervises: N/A The Janitorial Associate is responsible for ensuring that the office and fulfillment center is kept clean, tidy, and maintained on a daily basis. Essential Functions: Cleaning and tidying bathrooms on a daily basis. Including but not limited to cleaning toilets and sinks, mopping floors, refilling bathroom essentials (toilet paper, soap, etc.) Wiping down kitchen counter and tables on a daily basis Vacuuming carpets in the office at least twice a week Mopping kitchen, lounge, training room, hallway floors, and other applicable areas Dusting blinds and cleaning interior windows Disinfecting door and fridge handles, microwaves, and sinks on a daily basis Emptying cardboard, trash, and recycling in the fulfillment center and office ona daily basis Sweeping the fulfillment center on a routine basis and disposing of excess debris, and broken pallets properly and safely Keeping stock of all supplies including but not limited to cleaning supplies and materials, bathroom, and kitchen supplies Paying close attention to detailwhile cleaning and using proper tools and cleaning products Maintaining, cleaning, and organizing tools such as carts, mops, mop heads, vacuums, etc. Acquiring training for any required equipment needed to perform the job such as a pallet end rider Adhering to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other associates, team leads and managers Communicating regularly with management and other departments with any questions that may come up Adhering to the performance standards and expectations to their assigned department All otherduties as assigned by the Maintenance Team Lead and/or SupplyHouse.com management including but not limited to assisting in other departments throughout the fulfillment center and adhering to that department's expectations Working Environment: This position operates in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting and may require work in hot/cold conditions. The noise level of the work environment is moderate -high. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time (8+ hours) and perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs including but not limited to: walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling various items. Ability to lift and carry items 10-501bs. All members are expected to seek help if an item is over 50lbs or if the weight limit that can be lifted is reached. Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently. Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds.
