The Parts Advisor oversees all parts operations within the Service Center to provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense control. This position acts as the primary supplier of spare parts for internal operations and as the primary parts salesperson. The Parts Advisor is an integral part of the service experience. Candidates are expected to excel in their respective roles, have the ability to learn quickly and strive for excellence in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:Communicates, enforces and monitors effective parts department processes Promotes and merchandises parts and accessories according to Lucid guidelines Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes perpetual and annual inventories, as well as proper counter procedures Create estimates as required by technicians and advisors Order inventory and special-order parts for jobs Receive parts orders May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to travel occasionally if needed for a week or more Have a passion for sustainable transportation and changing the automotive industry
Qualifications:High School Diploma or relevant work experience Previous experience in a parts department environment - luxury preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask while maintaining high level of accuracy Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports Able to effectively work both individually and within a group in a high-paced environment Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software Role based in the Oslo region Advantageous Experiences:Certificate in Automotive Technology or equivalent work experience Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains Start-up experience and related fast-paced environments Previous OEM Parts training

Audi of Colorado Springs is searching for a full-time Parts Advisor. A Parts Advisor sells parts and accessories to parts customers and actively solicits wholesale accounts.

Essential Duties

Assists wholesale account customers, and/or walk-in/phone-in customers, in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.

Locates or orders parts as needed.

Prepares invoices for parts to be delivered to wholesale customers.

Maintains and solicits wholesale accounts in person and by telephone. Keeps parts manager informed on the status of accounts.

Maintains professional appearance.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training;

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
