Fred Anderson Kia of Raleigh store has a rare opportunity for individuals looking to learn the Parts Department at an entry level position with opportunity to be promoted within the department. The schedule for this position is a 5 day work schedule between 7am-5pm; Monday-Friday.

· Individuals with friendly and outgoing personalities to assist customers and answer incoming calls

· Someone to handle incoming and outgoing shipments

· Possess strong communication and organizational skills conducive to a fast paced enviornment

· Stay up to date on products and inventory; pulling and packing parts

· Strong focus on detail and record-keeping

· Highschool diploma or equivalent

· Someone to deliver parts from our parts department

· Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record is required

Position Overview

The Parts Retail Associate position has the opportunity to interact with hundreds of customers to assist them in purchasing automotive parts. The goal is to create an exceptional buying experience to build customer loyalty to AutoNation.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

* Promptly meet and assist both the technician and the retail guest in a friendly and courteous manner.
* Obtain the correct parts and accessories for both the technician and the retail guest in a timely manner.
* Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and transfer the information to the proper document and computer system.
* Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.
* Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
* Maintain the parts department in clean and orderly manner.
* Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
* Create and maintain merchandising display to promote product sales.
* Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

The performance of a Parts Retail Sales Associate is measured by achieving:

What are the requirements for this job?

* Requires three (3) years or more as an automotive Parts professional.
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
* One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
* One year of sales experience
* Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
* Organization and follow-up skills

Position Overview

Parts Coordinators are essential to our team’s success because this role helps our locations deliver safe, quality repairs. Our Parts Coordinators are responsible for ordering, verifying and distributing parts for our collision repair locations. We're looking for individuals who can create strong relationships with our vendors to not only ensure timely delivery and distribution of parts but also maintain accurate accounting records for the parts department. This is a position that offers the opportunity to learn our business operations and further grow your career.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop

• Establish strong relationships and work with vendors to locate and order parts

• Receive and inspect parts for quality and accuracy

• Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule

• Maintain accurate accounting records for purchased and/or returned parts

• Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency

• Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings

• Complete required company and safety training

• Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts, past work with auto body parts a plus

• Ability to solve problems and create solutions

• Computer Skills that include ability to navigate multiple computer programs at the same time

• Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment

• Work well with others to achieve common goals
