A passenger service supervisor is also often referred to as a passenger handling supervisor. This person's job is to ensure that passenger services at an airport run without any hitch. As a passenger service supervisor, you monitor and direct passenger services staff members, including ticket desk agents, information desk staff, and check-in staff.

You must also ensure they perform their duties on time. If any staff is indisposed, you will need to provide cover for the team. This supervisor works primarily in an airport. If you choose this job, you must follow the company's policies and ethics completely.

Of course, you must have outstanding customer service and communication skills. While the exact educational requirements for this career vary from company to company, a high school diploma or GED is usually sufficient. Most employers, however, tend to choose people with customer service experience and college background. You can look forward to earning an average of $41,474 per year on the job.
