The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates complex equipment to produce high quality images. This individual collaborates with the Radiologist, the manager, and the staff in developing, implementing and evaluating department procedures and protocols. This position has direct patient care, access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with the Radiologist, the manager and the staff. This individual works under the indirect supervision of the Radiology Manager. Minimum Qualifications Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Major/Area of Concentration: Nuclear Medicine Preferred Education: Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology certification Board and current licensure in the State of Ohio. BLS - Basic Life Support. De-escalation training within 6 months. Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Required Experience: Preferred Experience: 1-2 years Nuclear Medicine Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Job Specific Essential Functions Demonstrated knowledge of Human anatomy, venipuncture, and Radiation Protection Standards. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and communicate with others effectively. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new skills as necessary. Demonstrated strong commitment to patient care. Complies with departmental, state, and federal regulations/protocols for receipt, storage, handling, dosage, and disposal of Radiopharmaceutical material. Accurate and complete quality control records relative to department, state and federal guidelines. Communication and documentation of all variations from protocol. Communication and documentation of equipment variations Interventions with patients/families of all age groups: infant, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric. Utilizes effective communication to ensure customer identification, education, safety and satisfaction. Organized, timely, and accurate completion of procedures and procedural documentation relative to department standards.

What will I do as a Resident Aide with Genacross? Provide quality personal care to ensure that residents are comfortable and are provided with the highest quality of care. Adheres to all guidelines learned and state guidelines as well as comply with Genacross policies and procedures. Complete administrative requirements to ensure that proper documentation is maintained. Completes paperwork, medical forms, charting and all required documentation as a part of the resident care process and the transition of care process. Assist the residents with daily tasks related to dining and the resident activities program. Follow care plan functions to meet the specific needs of each resident. Focus on resident's individualized needs and encourage resident's ability to make personal choices. Reports allegations of abuse/neglect and reports, as appropriate, to proper organization leadership. Reports hazardous incidents, including but not limited to, injuries, equipment, etc. to the appropriate Manager/Supervisor. Accepts direction of charge nurse in relation to direct resident care. Resident Aide Requirements: Must have or be willing to complete the required training for the position of Resident Aide Assistant including first-aid training. Must be at least 16 years old. Must be medically capable of performing the duties described. Must demonstrate an ability to read, write, understand and communicate job-related information and directions in English. Must be able to work flexible hours and holidays. Familiarity with basic computer skills. Ability to learn new software applications as required by the position.
