Overview
The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day payroll function, ensuring that payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations. This Supervisor role exercises independent judgment on payroll-related matters with accountability and ongoing decision-making responsibilities associated with the work. This role is responsible for training, planning, organizing, reviewing, supervising, and evaluating the work and performance of assigned staff.
Responsibilities
* Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
* Oversees the daily workflow of the payroll function.
* Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
* Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
* Duties/Responsibilities:
* Review, approve, and ensure accurate and timely semi-monthly payroll processing for 1,000+ employees, maintaining strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
* Audit payroll transactions for accuracy, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, benefits, garnishments, and tax deductions.
* Manage and resolve payroll-related inquiries with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality, while maintaining detailed documentation to support audit readiness and risk mitigation.
* Evaluate and enhance payroll processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and strengthen internal controls.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws; monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary updates.
* Oversee ongoing payroll reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
* Recommend and implement updates to payroll software, systems, and procedures to address findings, maintain compliance, and enhance operational accuracy and efficiency
* Manages payroll system configurations by creating and maintaining earning and deduction codes, PTO plans, and tax accounts.
* Analyze and reconcile various records, reports, earnings, and deductions. Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Manage semi-monthly calculation of Short-Term Disability benefit.
* Facilitate and keep current Wage and Hour training for Management Team in coordination with Patelco's policies.
* Partner with Accounting on general ledger administration and reconciliation.
* Lead the planning and execution of year-end payroll activities, including the preparation, reconciliation, and distribution of W-2s and other required tax documents.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Have minimum 4+ years of current experience in Payroll field
* BA/BS degree in Accounting, Human Resources or other related business degrees or commensurate experience required
* Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (UltiPro/UKG preferred)
* Have 2 or more years in business intelligence report writing
* Have advanced computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Window
Physical Activities/Requirements
* Required to work onsite in an office environment at our Dublin Headquarters location to support essential payroll operations, including participation in in-person meetings, handling of physical mail, printing and distribution of payroll checks, and conducting offboarding procedures. Remote work flexibility is subject to business needs.
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
* Visual acuity to read and analyze data on a computer screen and printed documents.

Overview
The Operational Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the iteration, implementation, and maintenance credit union's operational risk management framework, inclusive of the Business Continuity Program. This role ensures that internal controls are effective and that the organization complies with regulatory standards while maintaining member trust and operational resilience.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of the credit union's Operational Risk Management (ORM) program, inclusive of business continuity.
* Support the development of comprehensive methodology to effectively analyze operational risk events, identify root causes, and recommend targeted mitigated measures.
* Investigate and document operational incidents and loss events and make recommendations for process and control improvements.
* Assist in developing and maintaining risk management policies and procedures.
* Contribute to risk and control assessments
* Support risk awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
* Provide risk input on new initiatives, vendor assessments, and system changes.
* Prepare reports for executive leadership, risk committees, and regulators on program effectiveness.
* Assist in the maturation, maintenance, and testing of the Business Continuity Program.
* Support Business Continuity Program by participating in assessments, maintaining documentation, conducting Business Impact Analysis, and developing response and recovery strategies.
* Coordinate and conduct business continuity exercises, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
* Ensure the credit unions continued alignment with NCUA, FFIEC, and other regulatory guidelines.
* Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and develop mitigations strategies.
* Proficiency in operational risk tools, BCP/DR tools, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports, policies, and training materials.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across business units.
* Self-motivated and ability to adhere to deadlines.
* Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in operational risk management, preferably in a financial institution.
* Familiarity with fraud detection, risk modeling, and regulatory compliance (e.g., NCUA, FFIEC guidelines)
* Knowledge of operational risk tools such as risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), key risk indicators (KRIs), and incident tracking.
* Preferred Certifications:
* PRIMA Professional Risk Manager (PRM)

Answer phone calls within three rings; maintain positive demeanor, ensure phone coverage at all times; provide timely, complete and accurate messages.
Maintain scheduling calendar in a clear, consistent, complete and accurate manner to include: appropriate timeframes for appointments, evenly distributing appointments, documenting days out of the branch and handling schedule changes.
Have an awareness of staff and management activities to ensure accurate information is relayed to callers.
Attend to member concerns, or refer member to appropriate employee for assistance.
Identify and offer products and services to members to meet their financial needs and/or refer the member to an appropriate representative or partner. Participate in campaigns, contests, member outreach efforts, meetings and one on ones with management. Accurately track all referrals/sales. Meet established performance goals as assigned.
Accurately record and track all member interactions, following policy and procedure and maintaining integrity in all actions
Participate in AML/BSA compliance training as assigned. Adhere to credit union AML/BSA policy and procedures including CTR rules and form preparation, identify and refer suspicious activity to the Compliance Department, perform OFAC comparisons, and properly identify individuals in accordance with Branch Operations procedures.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
May serve as MSR or in other related capacities as directed by management.
May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours, to include offsite events.

About the Role

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join the Business Unit Controllers team. This individual will deliver dependable financial information to both internal and external stakeholders, analyze periodic financial outcomes, and act as a business advisor to ensure accurate accounting for new products and transactions.

* Meets with members to discuss loan programs and recommends appropriate product(s) to meet the member's needs.

* Recognize Cross sell opportunities and refer to appropriate team.

Overview
The Senior Accountant is responsible for operational accounting and controls and General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations supporting the Finance team at Patelco Credit Union.
In this role, responsibilities for the Senior Accountant include, but are not limited to being a subject matter expert for GL account reconciliations and recording of day-to-day operational transactions, preparing specialized reports and analyses; developing accounting procedures and controls; business process re-engineering and providing leadership and assistance to less experienced accounting staff.
This Senior Accountant in this role performs complex tasks requiring advanced professional experience, knowledge and competency in accounting principles and practices. This position requires an organized, technically proficient accountant with an analytical mind and learning agility. They will possess the ability to utilize critical thinking, discretion and judgment on assignments that are varied, diverse and difficult in nature. Success in the role requires embracing, and meeting, the changing needs of the department, along with building effective relationships and credibility across the organization.
Responsibilities
* Ensure appropriate technical accounting is applied to recording Patelco's products and services under accounting standards codification and/or regulatory requirements.
* Perform varying month-end close tasks, such as operational entries as well as perform variance analysis and interact with business partners to resolve and document variances, and validation of transactions and balances in accordance with audit and internal control techniques.
* Effectively describe accounting processes and controls with external and internal auditors, and provide supporting documentation as requested
* Prepare financial analysis and schedules in response to management requests, including summary schedules appropriate for senior level audience
* Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos providing documentation of the company's application of accounting principles to specific transactions.
* Analyze daily and monthly general ledger transactions
* Create and update standard of procedures, process flowcharts and documentation of significant processes.
* Interact and partner with other Patelco teams and provide strong consultation feedback as it relates to accounting matters

* Identify, communicate, and assist in implementing opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
* Contribute to automation efforts of reconciliations processes through implementation of technology solutions (ex: BlackLine) and project management
* Assess and make internal control recommendations to reduce financial statement risk
* Multi-task priorities in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
* Identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change
* Lead and collaborate to execute with a results-orientation

Qualifications

Overview
The Senior Analyst, Security Governance Risk & Compliance will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Patelco Security GRC program by identifying, assessing and managing risks while ensuring adherence to internal policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Supports the development and on-going management of the Security Governance, Risk & Compliance program
* Develops and maintains security standards, process documentations and control objectives
* Develops and maintains security control mappings to relevant frameworks
* Matures and enhance the information security awareness and training program
* Performs and manages the Information Security, Information Technology and Third-Party risk assessments
* Develops and maintains the risk and controls register and monitor risk treatment strategies and control effectiveness
* Monitor and escalate unresolved security issues, exposures, misuse, policy violations and other non-compliance situations to Security Leadership

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
