    Respite and Family Support Worker: $16.00-$17.00 (depending on related experience) Nature of Work: The Respite and Family Support Worker plays a vital role in supporting families who are caring for a child/youth with disabilities, behavioral health needs, chronic illness or other special needs. They provide short-term relief, advocacy and support to primary caregivers. They spend quality time with children and youth through safe, engaging activities in the home and/or community settings. Learn more about Children and Family Treatment and Support Services Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, high school equivalency, or a State Education Commencement Credential (e.g. SACC or CDOS); and experience working with children/youth and families is preferred. Provide individual, group, or family therapy to youths and families in the community. The Clinical Therapist will develop treatment plans as well as provide other necessary documentation. The Clinical Therapist will interface with local providers and provide linkages to other services as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed by New York State and able to practice independently as a: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Psychoanalyst or Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT).
