Insurance & Account Coordination * Obtain insurance benefit information, prior authorizations, and pre-determinations for patients. * Assist patients in completing insurance forms and respond to inquiries regarding unpaid balances. * Verify account balances and process refunds or payments accurately, following departmental protocols. * Serve as a liaison between patients, internal advocacy departments, and insurance carriers to ensure clear communication and resolution of account issues. Administrative Duties * Document all follow-up activities and patient interactions accurately in the system. * Maintain and update daily spreadsheets or logs as required by the supervisor. * Process patient payments and refunds according to established departmental procedures.
