Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent and exceptional customer service to all patients
Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
Perform venipuncture, vaccinations, medication administration, injections, and point of care testing
Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing
Review medical history and reconcile medical records within Epic
Assist providers with minor in office procedures
Clean, maintain, and stock exam rooms and equipment
Perform sterilization of instruments and sterile setup
Perform X ray procedures using proper equipment techniques and protocols
Produce clear imaging results as directed by the physician
Communicate effectively with patients to ensure they remain calm, informed, and comfortable throughout X ray procedures
Qualifications
Experience working in a medical or clinical setting
Familiarity with common medical equipment
Experience with Epic preferred
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to deliver outstanding customer service to an adult patient population

NATURE OF WORK:
The purpose of this classification is to tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in order to improve academic performance in Math and English/Language Arts for middle and high school students, and various core subjects for elementary students. Work closely with Kinship Care staff and students to determine needs and extent of tutoring required.
Additionally, this position assists in planning, organizing, and implementing programs within the Senior Services Department. Duties include leading and assisting with programs, activities, and staff-led classes, as well as providing administrative and program support.
This position reports to the Kinship Care Program Coordinator and Center Manager.
SOME OF THE ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

PRIMARY DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:
Entering prescribed treatment into dialysis machine, setting up dialysis machines, dismantling dialysis machine after treatment is completed, performing chemical disinfection of dialysis machines and recording.
Observing dialysis machines and RO water system for correct functioning, responding to visual and audible alarms and making appropriate adjustments throughout the dialysis treatment to ensure patient safety.
Monitoring vital signs during treatment and taking patient vitals pro and post dialysis; blood pressure, temperature, weight and documenting it on the Hemodialysis Treatment Record
Perform vascular access evaluation pre-treatment and report unusual findings to RN immediately
Perform cannulation of patient's vascular access or performing catheter care, as allowed by state law.
Obtain homeostasis and apply appropriate dressings.
Adheres to all facility policies, procedures, and protocols, participates in all required staff meetings.
Collects patient data, monitor and document status of vascular accesses, and patient observations.
Reviews lab work, collecting or obtaining blood samples and blood culture specimens and prepares package for shipping.
Immediately reports abnormal findings or change in status to assigned RN for further evaluation.
