to join their team. Both clinics focus on quality of care over productivity, with a low patient-to-provider ratio.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of patient check-in and greeting.
Prep charts and manage the daily appointment schedule.
Maintain a clean and organized patient exam area.
Communicate patient status and needs to clinicians.
Assist with patient check-out and follow-up duties.
Perform both clinical and administrative duties, including referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, and phone calls.
Requirements:
DOH Certified MA (CMA or MA-C).
BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
Current vaccination attestation/documentation (COVID, Flu, Hep B).
Comfortable working in a primary care setting.
Additional Skills:
Experience with EPIC/MyChart or another EMR system.
Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
Schedule/Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.
No patient time between 12 PM-1 PM.
Contract Length:

Organize and administer medications, including insulin as prescribed to resident
Observe and communicate to Licensed Nurse any concerns, negative drug effects or interactions if suspected.
Manage Medication Cart with accuracy and competence
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility, as needed
Engage with residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance
Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, medication side effects, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences and report promptly to Director of Nursing or designee.

* Orders radiopharmaceuticals according to both prescribed schedules, and on a stat basis.

* Reports/records all equipment problems promptly, and initiates service calls as necessary.
* Responsible for documenting pertinent clinical history and symptoms.
* Participates in the utilization and support of the PACS systems.
