Processes written medical staff orders in accordance with established policy and procedure; communicating STAT or urgent orders to the care provider. The CNA will provide assistance with daily living activities for residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia. The CNA will: Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, bathing/showering, eating, etc. Assist with personal and household chores, such as tidying up room, errands, delivering mail and/or newspapers. Observe and monitor residents for behavioral changes and/or adverse reactions to medications or treatment plans. Shifts are 7pm to 7am with opening during the week and on weekends. Potentail for 40 hours per week with occasional over-time. This client resides in a facility in a private room. Must have a CNA licence or PCA Certificate, current TB test, and a clean background check. This gentleman has some difficulty hearing and requires assistance with toileting and showering during overnight shifts. Caregiver must have reliable transportation.
