Envision Imaging is seeking a Patient Care Technician III for our North Frisco office! Pay Range $20.24 - $24.65 Summary/Objective: The Patient Care Technician III (PCT III) is a role dedicated to ensuring the patient has an exceptional patient care experience while in our center by meeting all patient needs. The PCT III will assist the technologist through smooth patient transitions and continuously engaging with the patient on exam expectations and wait times. The PCT III may prepare the patient for the exam contrast and/or initiate IV as needed and provide medical attention for contrast reactions under the guidance of the radiologist. The PCT III will assist the patient with any incomplete clinical pre-screening forms or consents and conduct the clinical history interview in preparation for the technologist's final review. The position will perform advanced clinical screening interviews for technologist review. In addition, the PCT III will contact the referring provider office to obtain updated orders, clarify orders, and determine when a new order is required. The PCT III must ensure patients are notified when prep/exam details have changed prior to the exam's scheduled date. The PCT III is responsible for requesting and validating the patient's prior reports and images, and ensuring the clinical review has been conducted in a timely manner, prior to the patient's exam.
