Coordinate and continually analyze and assess each family and child's situation regarding any supportive services, resources, and referrals that children and families may need. Develop treatment plans by establishing treatment goals based on data from outcome measures. Participate in meal service including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room; Ensure that residents are positioned appropriately for meals; Ensure that appropriate utensils are within reach of residents; Serve food trays and assist with feeding as indicated; deliver and document all a.m., p.m., and bedtime snacks and supplements; Provides hydration to all residents according to center policy. Responsible for knowledge of proper procedures to provide personal care services to residents; provide requested personal care services to residents. Observe the resident, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify Nurse Supervisor or Physician of resident's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Records and restocks medication inventories. Prepares equipment and aids nurses during treatments and examination of residents. Checks residents in section regularly; Answers call light promptly; Follows through with resident problems or needs by delivering care or reporting to supervisor depending upon the level of ability and nature of the resident need. Provides residents' hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assists with travel to the bathroom; helps with showers and baths. Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering residents' call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the resident to the nursing supervisor.
