Sierra Sunrise provides onsite mental health services, case management, peer support and housing navigation to support individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will play a pivotal role in providing healthcare services to clients with behavioral health needs within a low barrier shelter setting. The CNA will work with the Care Teams to assess client's physical needs, including assisting with daily living skills and wound care. Under the supervision of the Transportation Coordinator, the Medical Transport is responsible for the direct transportation of physically limited passengers to and from their destinations. Compensation: $25.22 - $26.48 an hour Duties and Responsibilities Effectively communicates with participants, families, staff and other agencies and departments. Drives a specially equipped van to deliver physically limited persons to varied destinations. Assures wheelchair lifts and tie down equipment are properly operated and participants are delivered to appointments in a timely manner. Assists passengers on and off the van in a safe and courteous manner. Will work with medical equipment and manage other emergencies that may arise.
