Clinical Rotation Description:
This clinical rotation prepares Family Nurse Practitioner students for ambulatory care settings. MinuteClinic accomplishes this goal by not only meeting the academic standards of the school, but by providing students with a well-rounded experience that includes specialized online training, patient interaction, visibility to our EMR and the opportunity to work in a new and exciting model of health care. Our preceptors have a passion for teaching and sharing their knowledge. All of our providers have exceptional clinical skills and are experts in the operational skills required to run their own clinic. MinuteClinic?s student clinical program offers the most unique experience available, because you are doing more than just enhancing your clinical skills: Practical education including clinic operations, public relations, marketing, insurance procedures, and use of evidence based guidelines. Students will gain exposure in an ambulatory care setting and develop an understanding of how these clinics fit into the current structure of health care delivery. You?ll develop an understanding of how our corporate office relates to and supports our clinical practice. Most MinuteClinic locations are open 7 days a week and our providers? schedules are compressed, so clinical days can vary from week-to-week. Clinic locations may also vary depending on schedule of your assigned preceptor.
Required Qualifications :
To participate, you must be enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program that already has an executed Affiliation Agreement with MinuteClinic. Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Our Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
