Provide for the basic needs of the pets in the care and custody of the Pet Resource Center (PRC) assuring the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare are maintained. Includes but not limited to feeding, cleaning, exercise, enrichment, and basic care of treatment as directed by a veterinarian.
Provides daily observation and triage of pets in the care of PRC, recording changes as appropriate and reporting changes or concerns to a veterinary technician or veterinarian in a timely manner with accurate & complete observations noted in the shelter software system.
Interacts with potential adopters, foster caregivers, & rescues; facilitating meet-and-greet sessions between potential adopters & pets; and explaining basic veterinary care given at the shelter & ongoing care needed.
Performs euthanasia in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida. Responsible for accurate records, drawing and administration of drugs, and all other aspects from selection of the animal through death verification.
Assigns shelter tags, pens, and cages for placement of animals in designated areas.
Maintains inventories of food, cleaning materials and equipment. Provides food and water to animals. Cleans animal kennels, cages, and shelter areas to provide a sanitary and disease-free environment.
Inspects assigned areas for safety compliance, routine maintenance requirements and animal inventory control to comply with standards and policy.

Patient care assistant job in Sarasota, FL
We are seeking an experienced Physician for its established Wound Care team in Bradenton, FL. Provider must be well versed in advanced wound care methods including wound VAC and skin substitutes.
As part of this role, you will:
Examine, assess, prescribe, and treat patients within scope of practice
Debridement of wounds by sharp, enzymatic and autolytic.
Application and management of topical wound care and associated wound management products
Diabetic Foot Ulcer risk assessment for Members with Diabetes, as per the ADA guidelines
Direction and recommendation of associated services to improve wound healing outcomes. This includes but not limited to labs, radiologic tests, vascular tests, referrals, home health care, VAC device, and\/or orthotics.
Interpretation of diagnostic tests and recommendation of appropriate follow up to same.
Prescribe required medications and\/or Durable Medical Equipment or supplies (DME) to facilitate wound healing and\/or wound prevention.

Qualifications/Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
At least one-year experience working in a care provider setting is preferred.
At least one-year experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness is preferred.
Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written skills.
Must be able to work with diverse groups and individuals.
Must successfully complete all criminal background screens and remain eligible. *********************************
Valid Florida driver license, must be able to drive with the ability to become and remain under the company's insurance policy.
Must be able to utilize company email and demonstrate proficient computer skills.
Must be able to utilize electronic health records.
Must complete all required training and keep training current, including CPR, AED, First Aid and Medication Technician.
Good Moral Character.
Must have a negative TB screening within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
Must pass a drug screen and follow drug-free workplace policy.
