Essential Functions:
Perform clinical assessments; identifies patient needs and appropriateness of patient.
Document, prepare/revise and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, phone orders and other

Assess sensory-motor neuromuscular, psycho-social and cognitive-perceptual components of

Adheres to departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety.
Follows laboratory procedures for specimen collection and handling. Correctly identifies patients and properly labels specimens. Correctly identifies and utilizes proper tubes, containers, transport media, and storage temperature for each test type. Correctly identifies proper priority for the collection process. Participate in emergency fire or disaster drills and other in-service training as scheduled. Must be able to safely ascend and descend stairwells and assist in an evacuation
Follow Universal Safety Precautions in order to protect oneself, residents and other staff members. Rinse soiled linen in preparation to be sent to the laundry this involves the capability to withstand strong foul odors and the ability to tolerate wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
