Essential Functions
Demonstrates competency in the performance of job related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
Ensures patients have been cleared for specific diagnostic tests.
Obtains pre-certification and registration prior to a patient's appointment.
Gathers pertinent information from insurance carriers, financial counselors, and other ancillary staff to make certain the patient is not financially obligated for services provided.

Has knowledge insurances and of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.

Job Summary As a Patient Care Coordinator at Atlas Medical Care you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional home health and end-of-life care to our patients. As a Patient Care Coordinator based in our Mesa office, you'll be the invisible backbone of our healthcare operations, providing essential support to both our patients and providers. This is not a patient-facing role, as we don't see patients at our main office. Your role is crucial, involving meticulous collection of vital health data for seamless entry into our EMR, as well as the skillful coordination of schedules among residents and providers to maximize efficiency. With strong communication skills and attention to detail, you'll keep everyone; patients, families, POA's, and healthcare providers informed and engaged through phone calls and messaging. Your responsibilities also include ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory standards. If you love healthcare and prefer phone-based interactions, this role is a perfect fit for you.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
Must have Medical Assistant (MA) certification
1-2 years medical office experience preferred

Outbound Scheduling Specialist Are you a people person with a passion for providing great customer service? We're looking for an energetic and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this role, your primary responsibility will be making outbound calls to potential and existing customers to offer free tree evaluations. You'll be the first point of contact in helping homeowners understand the value of proper tree care and connect them with our expert arborists for a no-obligation assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to homeowners from a provided list
Introduce our tree care services in a friendly and informative way
Explain the benefits of a free tree evaluation
Schedule appointments for certified arborists to visit and assess customers' trees
Answer basic questions and handle any initial concerns
Maintain accurate records of calls and customer responses
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills and a confident phone presence
Positive attitude and a customer-first mindset
Ability to handle rejection professionally and stay motivated
Comfortable working with call scripts and customer tracking tools
Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule is Monday - Friday, with four days from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, and a flex-day from 8:00AM - 2:00PM (this is an in-office position only)
Ability to reliably commute to our office near Pinnacle Peak and 21st Ave in Phoenix, Arizona
Compensation: $19.00 an hour, plus bi-weekly bonus
