JOB DESCRIPTION BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN DEPARTMENT: CLINICAL REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR OF CLINICAL SUPPORT STAFF SUPERVISES: N/A Entry Level Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred; one year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of chemical dependency recovery. Required Skills Knowledge of the data flow inputs from other sites or other program sensors. Knowledge of IRIG standards and testing procedures. Knowledge of new RF TM modulation schemes, error correction and the new capabilities of new TM receivers. Knowledge of situational awareness displays and how to configure new system for missions. Knowledge of RF/Fiber links. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite. Good oral and written communication skills. Required Experience Associate degree in electronics, or a two-year technical school, or equivalent military experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) or more years' of electronic related experience Experience using of test equipment to include Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Bit Error Rate Tester, Signal Generators. Experience in all aspects of Telemetry, antennas, receivers, recorders and other ground station equipment. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport. Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. Able to lift up to 50 lbs of electronic equipment, work on antenna pedestals.
