Under the direction of the Lead Medical Assistant, and Director of Behavioral Health, the Behavioral Health Medical Assistant is responsible for all duties related to medical assisting including but not limited to; assisting behavioral health providers, taking patient vitals, injections, record keeping, performing basic medical procedures, scheduling appointments including telehealth and coordinating virtual meetings, and assisting with medical office tasks such as filing, faxing, data entry and phones. Must be flexible due to demands of an innovative field. Also, will be responsible for any other special assignments or tasks as requested by administration. A Behavioral Health Medical Assistant will also help to drive outcomes and clinic goals with a focus on quality and patient care. The Correctional Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct mental health care and psychiatric support services to incarcerated individuals within a correctional facility. Working under the supervision of a Psychiatrist or other licensed healthcare professional, the LPT plays a vital role in delivering safe, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care to patients with behavioral health needs. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor, assess, and document the mental health status of incarcerated patients. • Administer prescribed medications, including psychotropic drugs, and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions. • Assist in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and suicide prevention measures. • Observe and report changes in patients' mental, emotional, or physical condition to appropriate clinical staff. • Facilitate or support therapeutic activities and group sessions under clinical direction. • Maintain safety, order, and security standards while delivering care in compliance with institutional protocols. • Complete routine documentation, including daily progress notes, incident reports, and medication records. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans. • Ensure compliance with all facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and state licensing standards. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Active and unrestricted California LPT license • Current BLS/CPR certification. • Minimum of 1 year of experience • Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-security environment.

Job Requirements Our Patient Care Technicians provide high-quality patient care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as END Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a PCT you will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, initiating cannulation, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Under the direction of the shift supervisor, the licensed Psychiatric Technician provides a safe, clean, and home-like environment for residents of an assigned group of forensic clients. The Psychiatric Technician participates in the rehabilitation/habilitation treatment program, including behavioral management training, care and supervision, assists clients in developing and utilizing their potential for self-care and activities of daily living, and does other related work for which training has been received. A licensed Psychiatric Technician must have the ability to work extended hours and various shifts and must float to all work areas within the facility if called upon to do so. Working Conditions Typical Working Conditions: Staying at work area for periods of time on a residence and/or training site where a client may be receiving training or services. Mandatory overtime may be required on a periodic basis. May spend time performing custody tasks which includes escorting forensic clients in the facility; counting, distributing, and accounting for all utensils and other equpiment/tools to prevent their use as weapons; inspecting facilities to identify security breaches that could lead to the escape of a forensic client; and observing and intervening in forensic client behavior that may injure people, damage property, or signal impending escape attempts.
