    Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Critical Care Tech you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician. While in this position you will be responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. You will place orders, receive & stock supplies for the department/unit, and assist support staff with filing, medical records and daily tasks as assigned. Your Role as a Lead Cardiology Registered Veterinary Technician As a key member of our Cardiology team, you'll partner closely with the Cardiologist to deliver advanced, compassionate care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. In this role, you'll assist with and perform cardiac diagnostics - including echocardiograms, ECGs, Holter monitors, and blood pressure measurements - while coordinating procedures, interventional techniques, and anesthesia monitoring. You'll administer and monitor cardiac medications and therapies, provide tailored care for both hospitalized and outpatient patients, and maintain readiness for cardiac emergencies. With proficiency in cardiology-specific skills such as echocardiography, pacemaker work, and chronic disease management, you'll ensure the highest standards of patient care. Additionally, you'll communicate closely with clients to educate and support them in managing their pet's condition, while serving as a knowledgeable resource and mentor to the cardiology team, fostering collaboration, professionalism, and a shared commitment to excellence.
