Maintain patient safety and comfort, which may include assisting with personal care needs and activities of daily living. Responds appropriately to emergency situations. Note you will have exposure to blood, needles, and various other bodily fluids. This position provides direct patient care that regularly involves heavy lifting, moving of patients, and assisting with ambulation. PCT will spend considerable time walking, bending, stretching, and standing. The employee may occasionally be required to move machines, equipment, and may lift chemical and water solutions of up to 30 pounds and high as five feet. You are required to acknowledge the inter-facility coverage policy that supports floating to various clinics during and after your training, if needed.
