This Posting is for multiple openings of a Surgical Technician at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA . We offer 8, 10 and 12 hour day shifts, as well as on-call and fulltime opportunities.
The Surgical Technologist is an active member of the Operating Room Team in providing quality surgical patient care, assisting in the maintenance of safe and aseptic surgical environment and observing and teaching other surgical team members in proper surgical technique. Reports to department manager or assistant nurse manager.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program. Or
Coursework/Training: Completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp. Or work experience even if education is from a non-accredited surgical technologist program.
Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of current experience as a surgical technologist.
2 years of OR surgical technologist experience.

Participate in Quality Assurance programs, the Pharmaceutical Services Review, and any other community committee or program that affects the medication pass and seeks to improve the performance and accuracy of the medication process. Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document the oral and/or topical medications that are commonly used in this community and that may be ordered for resident use by the attending physician.
