Summary
The OR Technician (Multi-specialty) is a member of the surgical team who assumes the responsibility for a surgical specialty, serving as the main resource person for instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and procedures within the assigned specialty. He/she functions under the direction of the RN, assisting with the intraoperative care of patients by performing in the scrub role during surgical procedures. Additional duties may also include, but are not limited to, picking supplies/ instruments for cases, putting away supplies and equipment, decontamination of instruments, and stocking supplies in OR rooms, The OR Technician will also be able to function on all surgical procedures and will participate in the on-call schedule as assigned.

Summary
The Surgical Technician assists with the nursing care of the patients in the OR by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards of practice and policy and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse at all times. The Surgical Technician serves as a scrub nurse, but not independently as a circulating nurse. Other duties include stocking, replenishing, preparing, and/or selecting supplies and equipment for storage or use during surgical procedures. The Patient Care Technician I advocates for clients, ensuring that the clients psychosocial needs are being addressed while participating in clinical trials and assists with retention of clients in research.

Accurately documents patient treatment details and prepares laboratory specimens as prescribed.

Delivers excellent service to patients, families, and staff, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Job Description
As a Direct Support Professional, you will be expected to actively assist your assigned clients in the participation, involvement and routine of their individualized program.
Direct Support Professional responsibilities include:
1. Personal hygiene
2. Chores and Room Care
3. Peer Interaction and Socialization (i.e. appropriate social interactions, practicing taking turns and working an s a team member)

This is an immediate need! They are ready to start selecting candidates ASAP so that they can start the level 2 security clearances. Keep in mind this is not easy work, working with these patients.
These positions are open as they have an increase of patient population on the residential campuses right now. These candidates will be working in a large residential home where these patients live.
These positions are located in Viera, FL (Brevard County)
These candidates will all receive a FULL WEEK of training. This will include how to work with people with behavioral disorders and will even include physical management techniques, just in case. So please let candidates know so that they are not scared off by this.
