Summary The Surgical Technician assists with the nursing care of the patients in the OR by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards of practice and policy and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse at all times. The Surgical Technician serves as a scrub nurse, but not independently as a circulating nurse.
