What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Technician fulfills the assigned role as part of the treatment team - to maintain the wellbeing of clients and the integrity of the program. Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Interaction & Support:
The behavioral health technician works SWING SHIFT- Full Time 11:00AM-7:30PM
Develop and maintain professional, supportive relationships with clients and staff.
Provide emotional support, encouragement, and guidance to clients and their families.
Support clients' comfort and safety in the residential environment.
Listen attentively, document client behavior, and report observations to clinical staff.
Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
Clinical & Administrative Tasks:
Collect and supervise urine analysis (U/A) testing, ensuring proper reporting, documentation in the EMR, and disposal of samples.
Observe self-administration of medication and document thoroughly.
Document all medications in the hardcopy Centrally Stored Medication Log and the EMR.
Complete intake assessments and consents with clients.
Conduct patient rounds every 30 minutes.
Complete vital signs (blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, pulse, respiration).
Complete contraband searches and random room searches.
Group & Activity Facilitation:
Facilitate groups, outings, and educational sessions.
Transport clients to meetings and appointments.
Team Collaboration & Communication:
Provide crisis intervention and promote a healthy residential and working environment.
Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.
What You'll Bring:
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:
Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the philosophy and approach of the 12-step model of recovery (AA, CA, NA, Alanon).
Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Basic knowledge of referrals, both in and out of the organization.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers, clinical staff, and administration to deliver high-quality care.
Strong attention to detail and organizational and time-management skills.
Qualifications:
Current and valid certification as a SUDRC (Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor) or RADTI (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Successful completion of Pre-Employment Requirements including, a criminal background clearance, drug testing, and health screening, is mandatory prior to employment.

DUTIES:
Assists with admission/intake procedures on new residents including all paperwork, room assignments, and initial orientation.
Conducts property searches of residents as required by program standards.
Performs urine drug screen testing of residents as required.
Provides transportation services including resident transportation, donation pick-ups, agency errands, etc.
Attends in-service training and educational workshops.
Attends all required staff meetings.
Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems and various recovery resources in the community such as AA, Smart Recovery/ other resources in the community.
Develop and maintain individualized records of resident progress and participation in treatment including admission and discharge, individual, group, family, vocational (both individual and group) literacy training and other occasions as appropriate.
Ability to write clear (and concise) statements, summarizing resident's feelings, expressions, resistance and response to their treatment plan; goals and objectives.
Ability to confront behavioral changes, identifies a crisis, and recognize when additional assistance is necessary.
Ability to recognize personal recovery issues that have an impact on job performance and interactions with residents.
Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and resident confidentiality.

2 years of experience as a surgical technologist with the ability to competently scrub all regularly performed procedures in five of the eight core service-line clusters (cardiac, thoracic/vascular, orthopedics, spine, general/urology/gynecology, EENT/plastics/maxillofacial, neuro, robotics). Of the five service-lines, three must be general/urology/gynecology, orthopedics, and spine.
For internal candidates, the minimum experience can be waived if the ability to scrub in the service-lines as listed above is met.

How you will change lives As a PatientCareTechnician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients. The PCT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) for patients with renal failure.
What you'll be doing
Patientcare. You will work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include gathering patient stats before and after treatment, initiating treatment, monitoring patients during treatment, terminating treatment, and collecting patient blood samples per physician orders.
Technician Duties. You will ensure quality comes first by preparing machines for hemodialysis treatments, cleaning and disinfecting machines after treatment, and conducting machine safety checks and logging results for quality control, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed.
Safety and Quality. You will use appropriate safety measures, including personal protective equipment. Working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations. You will participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.

Education & Experience:
