Certified surgical technologists are responsible for preparing the operating room, including but not limited to, the sterile field, setting up surgical equipment, supplies, etc. During surgery, the certified surgical technologists contribute to patientcare by assisting the surgeon with instrumentation, supplies, specimens, and control of the sterile, surgical field. They are instrumental in preventing foreign retained objects. (Association of Surgical Technologists, 2022).
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for scrubbing on all major and minor surgical procedures as assigned.
2. Participates with patient assessments while planning, implementing, and evaluating patientcare.
3. Performs circulating duties under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide care and safety to all patients.
4. Responsible for maintaining operating room suite supplies, pulling procedures, assisting with continuing education, precepting, and orientation of all staff.
5. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psych/social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.
6. Participates in various hospital activities as appropriate and as directed by the Manager

Job Accountabilities:
* Cut-up, mount and prepare parts for metallurgical testing. Surface etching of parts for analysis. Measurement and metallurgical determinations consisting of hardness and microstructure analysis. Cleanliness testing of machined parts.
* Measure and record coolant and washer parameters to ensure parameters are met to maintain coolant and washer conditions.
* Participate in addition of chemicals; including coolants, cleaners and biocides as directed by site staff.
* Perform bio-stick dip tests of machine sumps and central systems.
* Assist in the maintenance of coolant filters, washers, etc. for sump changes and cleaning, as required to keep fluids within proper limits.
* Communicate with the customer so that changes in coolant parameters are highlighted and can then be acted upon and enter results in appropriate databases. Prepare detailed shift reports.
* Assist in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, such as scales, pH meters, glassware, incubators, etc. in accordance with site control plan.
* Assist in properly maintaining tools and utility equipment such as pumps, sump suckers, coolant dispensers, etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
* Supports site staff general organization initiatives (inventory, storage rooms, labeling, etc.)
* May work in manufacturing environment with union associates.
* Interact with customer's production and technical personnel and other suppliers.
* May be required to operate hand tools, shop tools and equipment.
* May require working flexible hours.
* Carries out other duties as directed. May have tasks specifically related to quality control, metalogical heat treat and the steel industry. Provide other specifically agreed Fluidcare services as and when required by the Site Manager and/or Lead Technician

Obtain vital signs prior to reinfusion; perform all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment - document.

Record accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters onto the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification.
Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and, if applicable, progress notes.
Report any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to the nurse supervisor.
Observe patient, and conduct machine safety checks according to facility policy. Report any change or unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.
Perform and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
Evaluate patients' vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures, provide appropriate intervention as needed, document and report any unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.

MAINTENANCE/TECHNICAL:

Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) The Telemetry RN is a highly skilled and compassionate nursing professional responsible for providing specialized care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role demands strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition. The RN works closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients on telemetry
+ Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical exams, health histories, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
+ Continuously monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac rhythm changes, alarms, and arrhythmias
+ Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
+ Document patient responses and changes in condition accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
+ Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust individualized care plans
+ Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
+ Maintain adherence to infection control, safety, and quality standards
+ Respond promptly to emergencies such as arrhythmias, rapid deterioration, or code situations
+ Advocate for patients and uphold confidentiality and patient rights
Minimum Requirements
+ Current Registered Nurse License in the state of practice
+ Minimum one year of professional nursing experience; telemetry experience preferred
+ Completion of Amergis' Competency Program (if applicable)
+ Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
+ Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
+ TB screening and health clearance (as required)
+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
+ Successful completion of new hire orientation and telemetry training
+ Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
+ Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
+ Basic computer literacy
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Essential Functions
