We're hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advanced EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use appropriate Advanced EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Working Conditions: Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, extended workdays. Long periods inside the ambulance. May work indoors or outdoors with exposure to weather. Possible routine exposure to moderate noise levels. May periodically work in poorly lit environments in a moving vehicle.
Physical Demands: Moderate to extended amounts of sitting, standing, and walking. Some repetitive motion activities. Routinely lifting more than 200 lbs. with assistance. Pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, carrying, typing and stair climbing. Visual identification of color-coded items. Clear speech and hearing. Must be able to wear a face mask or respirator with proper fit for extended periods when required.

- Maintains neat, orderly, and safe work area. Practices economy in the use of all supplies. Checks for expiration dates.
- Be knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of gastroenterology.
- Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with facility requirements and safety standards.
- Assists the physician and RN during diagnostic, therapeutic and medical emergencies.
- Cleans gastroenterological area and helps to clean procedure and clinic rooms following gastroenterology procedures. Properly disposes of contaminated supplies and equipment. Disposes of biohazardous waste per infection control guidelines.
- Performs high level disinfection (HLD) of endoscopes in the instrument processing area such as washing, assembling, and sterilizing instruments and ensuring they are functional.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
*** Education:** High school graduate. Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program (whether national, state, or military trained equivalent school) and have a current certificate.
*** Experience:** A minimum of one (1) year of experience within the past 36 months in a medical setting, prior GI experience a plus. Must have knowledge of fundamentals in anatomy and physiology; principles of aseptic technique; preparing and storing medical equipment; GI procedures; specimen care and handling; infection control. The Medication Technician is responsible for supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents as ordered and in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the company. In addition, the Medication Technician will provide direct personal care, encourage residents to participate in activities, and work with housekeepers and maintenance staff in accordance with the company s mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
Qualifications:
Prefer one (1) year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
A high school diploma or equivalent; a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus.
Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.

Job Description
PURPOSE:
Assist residents to manage and administer their OWN medications through MED REMINDER PROGRAM.
Assist residents to document the administration times of their medications using company technology platform to monitor compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To ensure all residents take their medications daily and report non-compliant residents.
To document and receive medications from the Pharmacy and properly store medications.
Properly upload all medications on resident's profile in an accurate manner.
Assist residents in obtaining new and refill prescriptions.
Medication management thru med reminders following Company's policies and procedures.
Daily wellness observations and documentations of side effect complaints.
Communicates clearly with residents, families, case management, and Housing Director regarding concerns, issues, errors, and non-compliance.
Orders, receives, and inventories supplies and medications. Ensure supplies are always available.
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the med room.
Reports concerns about residents to appropriate supervisors.
Assist housing team in performing daily breathalyzers and random drug tests.
Group Home
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 12 months experience administering medications preferred but not required.
Proficient communication in verbal and written English.
Good organizational and documentation skills
Good telephone skills
Must pass background check and drug test.
Basic First Aid training preferred but not required.
Computer proficient. Excel and Word programs.
PREFERENCES:
One year experience as a med tech in a long term care facility, sober living, or transitional housing.

MHT Responsibilities:
PatientCare & Observation
Conduct and document 5 or 15-minute safety checks.
Monitor patients for changes in behavior, mood, appearance, and safety.
Promptly report unsafe behaviors, escalation, or medical concerns to nursing staff
Minimal assist with ADLs (bathing, grooming, toileting, meals) as appropriate.
Ensure patients maintain appropriate hygiene, clothing, and room cleanliness.
Therapeutic Support
Use trauma-informed communication and de-escalation techniques.
Participate in milieu management, creating a safe, structured environment.
Redirect inappropriate behavior and reinforce positive coping skills.

Safety & Crisis Intervention

Conduct room searches, contraband checks, and ensure unit safety compliance.
Monitor for elopement risk, self-harm behaviors, or aggression.
Clinical Support
Obtain and record vital signs as assigned.
Gather and log patient belongings, complete body checks, and update inventories.
MHT Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Coursework in behavioral sciences preferred
Experience in a psychiatric hospital or residential treatment center preferred
Additional Requirements:
Current and timely renewal of CPR certification for healthcare professionals
Annual professional Handle with Care certification training and certification provided by Thrive Behavioral Hospital
Schedule:
Must work a minimum of four (4) 12-hour shifts per month
Must work 2 holiday shifts per year
Shift hours: 7:00 am 7:30 pm
