Our PatientCareTechnicians provide high-quality patientcare to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as END Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a PCT you will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, initiating cannulation, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Our PatientCareTechnicians have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life.
Work Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a desire to care for people and be comfortable working around blood and needles.
Experienced PCTs must have current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO or if applicable other state approved certification.
Experienced PCTs are required to have current BLS/CPR certification.

As a PCT / CNA with us, you need to know how to:
Respond to patientcare needs by answering call lights, assisting patients with hygiene care, obtaining vital signs, and communicating constructively, effectively and timely with members of the care team.

System Float Pool is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our clinical float and travel program staff serves in a variety of specialties throughout our hospitals in Colorado and Montana.

Your day.
As a Regional Float Pool CNA with us, you will know how to:
Respond to patientcare needs by answering call lights, assisting patients with hygiene care and nourishment, obtaining vital signs, and communicating constructively, effectively and timely with members of the care team.
Check and document patient vitals, glucose, inputs and outputs.
Assist nurses and physicians within scope and competency.
Actively participate in meeting patient experience goals.
Assist with patient transfers, admissions and discharges as directed and in compliance with the principles of safe patient handling.
Demonstrate and adhere to the standards of infection prevention.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (with prior approval)
Preferred:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least two (2) years of experience as a CNA
