Your Role:

What We're Looking For:

The Behavioral Health Clinician - Licensed SBHC is an licensed independent Behavioral Health provider who supports students and their families as a CHC employee in a school based clinic and performs diagnostic psychosocial evaluations, develops care plan with clients and their families, offers individual, family, or group therapy as appropriate, and collaborates with psychiatric and/or medical providers who are part of the client's care team. The clinician will document all clinical interventions in accordance with CHC policy, Joint Commission standards, and state regulatory expectations. The position is primarily focused on direct client care but may include supervision of unlicensed staff and/or students.
This School Based Health Clinician is a full time salaried position that follows a school based calendar, mirroring the school schedule of 195 days per year.
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
_CLINICAL_
+ Completes initial behavioral health evaluations; individual, group and family psychotherapy with children and/or adults in an outpatient clinic.
+ Will be expected to run at least five (5) groups for each week of direct clinical work.
+ Practices as part of an interdisciplinary, inter-professional team, accepting "warm hand offs" from primary care providers and other members of the health care team, as well as reaching in to the patient population to identify patients potentially in need of Behavioral Health services as flagged by the BH clinical dashboard.
+ Consults with providers within and outside the agency regarding the treatment plan and progress of the patients.
+ Coordinates as needed with psychiatric consultants for diagnostic and consultative needs; refers as necessary for medication management.
+ Attends clinical Team Meetings and Component Meetings as assigned.
+ Meets productivity standards as outlined annually during employees performance appraisal review with a focus on quality clinical care.
+ Encourages clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives, helping them to develop insight into themselves or their relationships.
+ Perform crisis interventions with clients.
+ Assess for immediate safety concerns, including: high risk patients/clients who may be at risk for homicide, suicide and domestic violence.
+ Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with identified goals.
+ Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge according to state regulatory and joint commission standards.

+ Completes and locks all treatment notes no later than the end of the next business day.
+ Completes reports as required for outside agencies such as DCF, Family Relations, probation, and others with appropriate releases signed by clients.
+ Participates as a member of agency wide committees as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Licensure / Certification / Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Licensed as Clinical Psychologist in State of CT. preferred, or may be license eligible with required current Associate license (MLSW, PC-A, MFT-A) with ability to obtain full clinical licensure within 3 years of hire. Professional clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred.
+ Minimum of two years of experience with outpatients including experience with children and/or adults.
+ Theoretical orientation consistent with brief, problem-focused therapy

Understanding of the health screening questions, and possible risks associated with MR exams.
Screening every patient to verify safety using MRI manufacturer guidelines including but not limited to Gauss/Cm, magnet strength, placement and duration of all implants.
Obtaining all implant information and contacting manufacturer when needed to ensure patient safety before scheduling MRI and importing all documents obtained for MRI clearance as per safety guidelines.
Ensure prior diagnostic testing clearance is obtained, including X-rays and/or proper bloodwork/GFR and required documentation including operative notes are scanned into patient's chart.
Trained in MRI safety level II, and BLS as required by ACR.
Ensure that incoming faxes are delivered and/or acted on immediately.
Retrieves and responds to voice mail messages in a timely manner.

Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice
Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions.

Typical Physical Demands

General orientation at time of hire. Accucheck, CPR, Fire/Safety/Infection Control annually. Health Care Provider CPR from American Heart Association or Professional Rescuer CPR by American Red Cross or other similar programs deemed appropriate by management. Additional cross-training as appropriate to perform diverse job duties. Successfully complete all training programs as determined by the Hospital. Other unit based competencies/skills as required.
Special Requirements:
Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and medical terminology. Ability to work as part of a team. Data entry and documentation skills. Experience working with a psychiatric population.
Physical Requirements:
Significant walking, bending, stooping, patient lifting and positioning. Must be able to participate in PERT. Manual dexterity for phlebotomy and data entry.

Cognitive Requirements:

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) at the CT Behavioral Health Hospital provides hands-on care and performs patient care and other related technical and clinical support activities as directed by the licensed nurse. Specific tasks vary within the behavioral health unit, but aspects of a patient's essential daily functions may include, but not limited to the following: eating, dressing, bathing, documenting q15 minute checks, delivering messages, serving meals, making beds, and tidying up rooms. Also, observation of the patient's physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports any change to the nurse assigned to the patient's plan of care.

Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent education required.
Previous hospital Patient Care Associate (PCA) experience, current certified nursing assistant (CNA) and/or emergency medical technician (EMT) license preferred. Nursing student who has completed the fundamentals or introduction to nursing course will be considered.
Behavioral health experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, and interprets verbal and written communications using the English language.
Ability to perform basic math.
Basic computer skills preferred.

We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join a fast-paced urgent care environment. The RT will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, support clinical providers, and ensure excellent patient care and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic x-rays under provider direction and ensure patient safety and proper positioning.
Support providers with patient care, testing, and documentation.
Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
Conduct preliminary vitals, point-of-care testing (flu, strep, urinalysis, etc.), and communicate results to providers.
Maintain and stock exam rooms, ensure equipment calibration, and complete quality control documentation.
