The Tech ensure continuity of care and help to meet the department goals as directed by the health care team. The Telemetry Technician will assume responsibility and accountability for monitoring the cardiac rhythms of patients in the central cardiac monitor station, documenting rhythm strips and notifying the nurse of changes. The Telemetry Technician is also responsible for keeping track of the telemetry boxes, ECG cables and testing communication equipment with nurses.
