Job Responsibilities: Ability to perform accurate and complete Polysomnograms, CPAP and BiPAP, ASV titrations, Oxygen Titration studies in accordance with established policies, procedures, and physician orders. Reapply electrodes as needed and trouble shoot equipment issues during the night/ call tech support to ensure a quality study is collected. Implement appropriate interventions (including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as continuous and bi-level positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc.). Ability to identify and meet patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history. Explain testing procedures and educate patients about sleep disorders. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues. Comply with the AASM and BRPT Standards of Conduct.
