The Technologist applies theoretical concepts using independent judgment to ensure the timely and accurate release of results, maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and quality in all operations. Job Responsibilities Perform timely and accurate stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across licensed technical disciplines (Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology). Utilize independent judgment and theoretical concepts to interpret and correlate patient results, including performing delta checks and resolving pending logs. Ensure strict adherence to written procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality control protocols, completing necessary documentation and corrective actions. Operate all laboratory equipment correctly, perform periodic maintenance, and troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions promptly. Certifications/Licenses A State of Florida Technologist License is required OR the proven ability to obtain a license during the interview/onboarding process is mandatory.
