Care for equipment, vehicles and facilities as if they are your own. Perform as exemplary employee at all times. Responsible for completion and accuracy of all paperwork and computerized records. Arrives to all work assignments on time, in the appropriate uniform, and with all appropriate certifications and credentials. Assures all safety rules and guidelines are followed. Physical Agility Test Carrying one piece of equipment in each hand (25 - 30 lbs. each), walk 100 yards which will include uneven terrain, a decline and an incline. Complete two minutes of continuous CPR compressions, maintaining adequate rate and depth of compression (< three errors). Pick up a barbell with 110 lbs., carry 20 yards forward and backward - simulates carrying a 200 lbs. patient. Days and hours of work may vary as job duties demand. Shifts are typically 12 or 24 hours in duration. Work weeks are from 48 - 60 hours. Travel Must be able to travel to assigned posts throughout Kings and Fresno Counties. Kings County currently has 5 designated posts, and Fresno County has 11. There may be occasional travel for conferences, seminars, and training.
