Job Summary:
This is a position within the setting of clinical research for individuals who are participating in clinical trials. The Patient Care Technician I advocates for clients, ensuring that the clients psychosocial needs are being addressed while participating in clinical trials and assists with retention of clients in research.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Assess research participants' current psychosocial needs and identify the case management needs.
Assisting clients with discharge planning as needed.
Set key goals to be accomplished with the research participants during their inpatient stay by working with each client to identify and prioritize needs and assisting with needs as relevant.
Completing Discharge Summaries for client discharging from the CRU (Clinical Research Unit). Ensuring that all information, medications, follow-up appointments are accurate, and informing treatment providers, care providers, family, referral sources of discharge.
Coordinating transportation for discharge, appointments off unit (visit to SSI office, interview for housing), doctor appointments and ensuring all calendars are updated with necessary information.
Assisting clients with other miscellaneous needs while on the unit (paying rent, paying bills, checking in with probation officers, purchasing items to maintain ADLs, obtaining clothes from shelters etc.)
Coordinating, supervising and documenting family meetings, case manager visits to the CRU.
Assisting with completion of applications for healthcare coverage, social security and food stamps.
Develop relationships with the representatives in other agencies to support research participants in attaining services such as housing, additional mental health care, medication, medical resources, financial assistance, legal advocacy, or other as needed.
Develop and manage weekly groups with inpatient clients focusing on psychosocial needs.
Updating database upon discharge from CRU and/or study termination to ensure all information about subject (i.e disposition, medication, insurance, etc) is accurate and current.

The In Center Hemodialysis Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing exceptional hemodialysis care to patients under the supervision of the RN in the assigned In Center.
PRIMARY DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:
Entering prescribed treatment into dialysis machine, setting up dialysis machines, dismantling dialysis machine after treatment is completed, performing chemical disinfection of dialysis machines and recording.
Observing dialysis machines and RO water system for correct functioning, responding to visual and audible alarms and making appropriate adjustments throughout the dialysis treatment to ensure patient safety.
Monitoring vital signs during treatment and taking patient vitals pro and post dialysis; blood pressure, temperature, weight and documenting it on the Hemodialysis Treatment Record
Perform vascular access evaluation pre-treatment and report unusual findings to RN immediately
Perform cannulation of patient's vascular access or performing catheter care, as allowed by state law.
Obtain homeostasis and apply appropriate dressings.
Adheres to all facility policies, procedures, and protocols, participates in all required staff meetings.
Collects patient data, monitor and document status of vascular accesses, and patient observations.
Reviews lab work, collecting or obtaining blood samples and blood culture specimens and prepares package for shipping.
Immediately reports abnormal findings or change in status to assigned RN for further evaluation.
Communicates all emergencies, patient life-threatening complications, and related situations to the attention of the RN for further instruction.
Maintains compliance with safety and infection preventative measures, ensuring patient safety.
Reinforces education with patients and family members on all aspects of End Stage Renal Disease.
Assists in the management of inventory supplies.

Using EMar and the mobile medication cart supervise residents taking prescribed medication or remind them to take medication.
Accurately and precisely document all medications delivered and refused using the EMar system; review with nurse on duty at the beginning and end of shift any change of status or medication issues with resident.

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. Position Overview
To provide best practice Diagnostic Imaging Services on a regional basis in order to promote good health and quality of life.
Experience
Two (2) years of professional experience in a Health Care setting within five (5) years.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Successful completion of a recognized cardiology technology training program.
Successful completion of the Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT) certification exam.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Eligible for active practicing licensure to practice as a Cardiology Technologist with applicable regulatory body in province of Manitoba.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training - as delineated in Prairie Mountain Health Policy PPG-00002 CPR Training.
Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology.

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Electrophysiology (EP) team. The APP will work collaboratively with EP physicians and the broader cardiology team to provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and device management needs in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. PMinimum of one year of experience as an advanced practice provider in cardiology is required, electrophysiology experience is preferred.
Qualifications
APRN: Master's or Doctorate in Nursing. Board certified in a relevant specialty. Acute Care Certification is preferred
PA: Master's degree from an accredited PA program. NCCPA certified.
Current and unrestricted license to practice as an APRN or PA in Florida
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of cardiology or electrophysiology experience as an advanced practice provider is required.
Proficiency with device interrogation software and remote monitoring systems a plus.
Full-time (Monday-Friday)

The In Center Hemodialysis Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing exceptional hemodialysis care to patients under the supervision of the RN in the assigned In Center.
PRIMARY DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:
Entering prescribed treatment into dialysis machine, setting up dialysis machines, dismantling dialysis machine after treatment is completed, performing chemical disinfection of dialysis machines and recording.
Observing dialysis machines and RO water system for correct functioning, responding to visual and audible alarms and making appropriate adjustments throughout the dialysis treatment to ensure patient safety.
Monitoring vital signs during treatment and taking patient vitals pro and post dialysis; blood pressure, temperature, weight and documenting it on the Hemodialysis Treatment Record
Perform vascular access evaluation pre-treatment and report unusual findings to RN immediately
Perform cannulation of patient's vascular access or performing catheter care, as allowed by state law.
Obtain homeostasis and apply appropriate dressings.
Adheres to all facility policies, procedures, and protocols, participates in all required staff meetings.
Collects patient data, monitor and document status of vascular accesses, and patient observations.
Reviews lab work, collecting or obtaining blood samples and blood culture specimens and prepares package for shipping.
Immediately reports abnormal findings or change in status to assigned RN for further evaluation.
Communicates all emergencies, patient life-threatening complications, and related situations to the attention of the RN for further instruction.
Maintains compliance with safety and infection preventative measures, ensuring patient safety.
Reinforces education with patients and family members on all aspects of End Stage Renal Disease.
Assists in the management of inventory supplies.
