As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Loren Tarmo is responsible for leading PatientSafe’s finance and accounting functions, administrative functions, and overseeing our hardware product lifecycle. He has been part of the PatientSafe team since 2011. During his tenure at PatientSafe, Loren has been a key business partner in customer fulfillment and operations, raising capital and defining company strategy. Prior to PatientSafe Solutions, Loren served in accounting and finance leadership roles in industries spanning medical devices (Helixis), manufacturing (Textron), and public accounting. Loren holds a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a BA in Social Science from the University of California, Irvine. He is also a licensed CPA.

Chris is an accomplished engineering leader, architect, and hands-on developer with a track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions over the last 15 years. He joined PatientSafe in 2009 as a foundational architect tasked with the design, implementation, and delivery of the clinical workflow engine. Prior to his role as CTO, Chris was the Sr. Director of Engineering at QPID Health, a clinical reasoning, patient safety, and data sciences company. Previously, he was Co-founder and Principal at AgileWorks Solutions, a software consulting firm focused on helping organizations scale and get to market more rapidly. Chris has also held architect and engineering leadership roles at Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems. Chris holds an M.S. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from California State University.

As PatientSafe’s Chief Commercial Officer, Tim is a seasoned healthcare IT executive who has spent his career focused on clinical technology adoption at the point-of-care to improve patient safety, clinical efficiency, and clinician satisfaction. Most recently, Tim led the Connected Care Healthcare Consulting practice at Burwood Group. His team of clinical and technology consultants managed projects for leading academic medical centers and IDNs, including Yale New Haven Health, BJC Healthcare and University of Utah Health to formalize program governance and strategy, develop client-aligned vendor criteria, and design and implement complex, multi-vendor systems to optimize care team communication and collaboration.

Kathleen Harmon is a Chief Clinical Officer at PatientSafe Solutions Inc and is based in Greater Detroit Area. She has worked as RN Director (ED and Trauma Services) Sr IS Product Mgr (ED, Pharmacy, Decision Support) at Trinity Health; Chief Nurse Executive at SPHERE 3D CORP; and Call Center- Nurse Manager at Huron Valley Ambulance. Kathleen works or has worked as Chief Nurse Executive at Burwood Group. She attended Finlandia University between 1984 and 1986, Concordia University-Ann Arbor between 2001 and 2003, and Concordia University-Ann Arbor between 2003 and 2005.
