Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong communication and interpersonal skills CPR and Food Handler certifications preferred (not required) Preferred Qualifications CNA certification (State of Illinois) Experience working with residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist with medication administration and treatments as directed by licensed staff Observe, monitor, and document changes in residents' condition or behavior Assist with meal preparation and feeding Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support Skills & Attributes Strong communication and relationship-building skills Attention to detail with accurate documentation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to assist residents safely with mobility and transfers Commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Equal Opportunity Employer Statement High Point Residence Centralia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
