On-Field Duties: Retrieve bats and other equipment promptly after a player has finished their turn at bat. Deliver baseballs to the umpire as needed during the game. Assist players with any additional equipment needs during the game. Pre-game and Post-game Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of the dugout before the game, making sure everything is in order. Help set up the batting practice area before games. Collect equipment and ensure the dugout is organized after the game. Player Support: Be attentive to players' needs and assist them with any requests within the scope of the role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Sell 5050 Raffle tickets to Nationals Park guests using a touch screen electronic handheld system + Act as ambassadors and spread awareness of the 5050 Raffle and charity initiatives to our guests + Accurately account for large amounts of cash, electronic payments, and distribution of raffle tickets, which are reconciled and reported to the 5050 Raffle Supervisor after each shift + Enthusiastically approach guests pre-game and in-game with sales pitches, raffle information, and charity information + Clearly communicate and educate potential donors to the 5050 raffle rules and procedures + Responsibly deposit cash and records of all electronic payments each shift and return all deposit slips to the 5050 Raffle Supervisor at the end of each shift + Other duties as assigned Requirements: + Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent military experience + Must have prior cash handling experience + Must be at least 18 years of age + Must have the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays + Must be able to work a majority of home games + Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills + Ability to interact positively with fans and other motivated, high-energy fundraising teammates + Have strong interpersonal skills and able to provide excellent customer service and hospitality + Interest in gaining knowledge within the sports industry preferred + Interest in sports philanthropy or non-profit fundraising preferred Physical/Environmental Factors This job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. Will work at heights. Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs. Compensation: The projected wage rate for this position is $18.25 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant's: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. A day in the life. As our National MarComm Associate Project Coordinator on the National MarComm team, you'll proactively coordinate marketing projects by assisting with creative briefs, scheduling, and communication efforts between project team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining a project planner to track activity and manage deadlines. As the Associate Project Coordinator you will be detail-oriented, a skilled communicator, organized, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and work with cross-functional teams. You will report to, assist, and support the day-to-day tasks of the National MarComm Project Manager. You will collaborate with marketing vendors and will serve as the lead contact for project management platform questions. You will track data to build reports and dashboards and communicate findings with the appropriate team members. You will also assist regional MarComm team member with various administrative projects as needed. Our future colleague. We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: * 2+ years of project management experience specifically working on projects that involve brand initiatives, internal program support, and employer brand * Highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities * Responsive and efficient * Ability to work with a wide range of cross-functional work teams and leaders * Experience with scheduling and calendar management for various team members * Excellent verbal and written communication as well as analytical thinking and problem-solving skills These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: * Experience with Wrike, Asana, Monday.com, or any other project management software * Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
