Serves as the lead subject matter expert for the zone relating to standards, programs and practices for food production, delivery, retail and culinary services. Typically aligns with an VP or Noram Zone Director, supporting that zone or geography. Has direct accountability for technical operational excellence - achieved by delivering on our contractual obligations, and our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable.

· Supports the technical operational excellence commitment of Sodexo and client, providing expert advice and guidance relating to standards and practices for food and nutrition services to include culinary, food production, delivery, and inventory management.

· Ensures the zone/region meets specific targets for reduction of food cost through implementation of food production systems and purchasing compliance.

· Ensures compliance with The Joint Commission on Accreditation of standards and other regulatory requirements, as well as with Sodexo's operating standards for operational excellence.

· Works with operations and CE's in areas relating to program implementation and compliance and achieving expected standard operating outcomes.

· Supports the implementation for new unit openings including the development and administration of training plans for program compliance.

· Supports the zone/region in the deployment and execution of national, regional, and district marketing, and operating programs.

· Performs inspections and audits to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.

· Investigates areas that do not meet Sodexo operational standards and recommends improvement strategies.
