What does a Restoration Estimator with Paul Davis do?
Work directly with customers to effectively manage the necessary repairs to their home and/or property.
Work with insurance company adjusters, independent adjusters, public adjusters and other industry professionals on agreements on both scope and cost of projects.
Proactively communicate with the Owner on project statuses, Trades (sub-contractor) performance and supplements.
Assist with the management and allocation of in-house staffing resources, as well as trade resources, needed to complete jobs in timely fashion.
Oversee job progress and proactively communicate with management on any potential problems or issues that may arise on projects.

Restoration Estimators work with the Owner and Trades after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a RPM, you will manage the renovation, as well as control and communicate the budget effectively. This means you will spend a good deal of time in the field to see your projects get completed properly.

Salary (based on experience) plus bonus on projects completed and within set targeted margins. Our current Restoration Estimators yearly pay range from $65,000 to $100,000 depending on their production. No limit to earning potential.
Qualifications (Requirements):
Ability to lead and develop team
3+ years of construction project management experience, prior experience in the restoration or related industry preferred.
Experience with estimating and job management software desirable (e.g.. Xactimate, Symbility, RMS/DASH, MICA)
IICRC Certifications a plus (ASD, FSRT, WRT)

What does a Mitigation and Contents Manager with Paul Davis do?
Serve as point person and first responder for every loss including contents cleaning
Contact customer within 30 minutes (unless emergency) to schedule appointment
Arrive on loss site within 2 hours if emergency or 24 hours for non-emergencies, unless carrier program requirements
Prepare scope of work through Sketch/MICA & communicate to customer
Secure applicable contracts
Coordinate, schedule, supervise, document, and assist in production on Emergency Water Extraction & Drying Services, Emergency Fire/Smoke Services, Carpet Cleaning, Deodorization, Mold Remediation (incl. demolition & cleaning, and Structural Cleaning
Record & report loss documentation (i.e. contracts, psychometric readings, moisture mapping) to customer, adjuster and national programs on all losses
Enter estimate into software & submit to adjuster/customer within 48 hrs. or according to carrier program requirements
Negotiate with Carrier/Programs/Subs.
Prepare and submit job related paperwork to admin for job updating/closing, etc.
Monitor accounts receivable (AR) on each job in association with Job Cost Accountant
Train, supervise and manage all technicians, while serving others within your community

Contact Central Agents are responsible for the collection of sensitive information required to mobilize field office personnel. This position is responsible to provide operational support in remediation efforts for clients. Qualified candidates will be responsible to perform basic level tasks relative to dry and pre-cleaning damage structures using accepted BELFOR Processes and meeting BELFOR standards. This position is the level 1 in the Progressive Fire Damage track, responsible for all New Hire Training, and will advance to Fire Damage Specialist -- Basic upon completion of New Hire Training.

The development of the Water Damage Specialist at the intermediate level has four (4) objectives: 1) to act as head of the water damage team that deals with residential losses and small commercial losses; 2) knowledge and technical competence in IICRC's standard work practices on water and mold damage; 3) competence in the use, care and maintenance of water extraction equipment, portable drying equipment and moisture detection instruments; and 4) ability to determine the extent, dimension and distribution of moisture, and to document water losses. Intermediaries provide assistance in the development of basic level technicians and assist advanced technicians in complex or large-scale projects. Intermediaries in CAT service can simultaneously manage multiple losses for water, including the organization and management of temporary workers. To qualify for this position, you must have 12 months of previous experience in the Basic Level of Water Damage in BELFOR or equivalent standard experience in the sector, as well as having directly participated in (at least) 25 water damage projects. This position represents level 3 in the progressive itinerary of Water Damage.
Responsibilities

Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
Review the daily requirements of projects, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges encountered.

This position will be responsible for creating and managing estimates and job in the residential, commercial, and industrial lines of business. This position will be responsible to meet with clients, develop quality and competitive estimates using Xactimate software, manage work through completion, review budgets and communicate progress with clients and management. Responsibilities
Create accurate scopes, very few over/under scopes
Create accurate floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch,
Must have working knowledge of applicable building codes
Create and adhere to acceptable budgets and address overages as they present themselves
Required to use the BELFOR naming convention for estimates, revised estimates, proposals, change orders, etc.
Must demonstrate a knowledge of all local building codes
Maintain a construction schedule and work with trades and management to ensure work is completed on time. Identify and present solutions when additional resources are needed.
Demonstrate proficiency with source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents and deodorization techniques
Proficient with investigative demolition, controlled demolition, decontamination structure cleaning and deodorization services
Participate in continued training with BELFOR University -- Basic Xactimate training as part of preparation for passing Estimator Level , 2, or 3 User Certification test, dependent on Estimator role. Score required for passing consideration is 85%
Independently manages own work
Maintain vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain vehicles in a clean serviceable condition
Complete all accident, injury & incident reporting forms as required timely
Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills

Serve as primary contact with owners, adjusters, and consultants
Scope development, negotiation and agreements with customers
Uses BELFOR standard in formatting estimates
Coordinate after hours emergency services as directed, including board-ups, water damage, fire and smoke damage and vandalism
Consistently identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.)
Must conduct oneself professionally and with courtesy at all times. Must be proactive conveying information and be immediately responsive to requests for information
Apply industry TPA Program standards and ensure compliance with requirements

National rate and Material invoicing experience
