YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
Flexibility, attention to detail, and a team spirit are crucial, as our National Enrollment Specialist supports the National Enrollment Advisor and network of Admissions Leaders. Here's what you can expect:
Assisting the National Enrollment advisor in developing and maintaining training content, onboarding programs, CRM improvements, and performance reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance (Title IV, FERPA, HIPAA, etc.)
Creating training materials and e-learning modules that align with our brand and voice
Supporting the coordination of virtual and in-person training sessions for admissions staff and ensuring training completion is documented.
Collecting and recording feedback from staff and forwarding suggestions for review
Assisting with logistics and content of quarterly virtual enrollment meetings and national training events
Completing accurate and compliant data entry, user documentation, training guides, and knowledge bases
Assisting with local and national marketing campaign development and execution
Creating and distributing a monthly newsletter
Compiling admissions data from different schools, determining trends or patterns, identifying gaps, and making improvement recommendations
NATIONAL ENROLLMENT AGENT REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of experience in admissions, training, or operations OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Verbal/written communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex information
Organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail
Ability to analyze data, use reporting tools, and support executive decision-making
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications

ABOUT THE ROLE

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Working under general direction, this position computes, classifies, and records numerical data to keep financial records complete while serving as the first line of communication for students regarding financial impacts to their accounts. The role performs a combination of complex and varied calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for maintaining accurate accounting records. Responsibilities include managing, maintaining, and processing all payroll functions for graduate and undergraduate students in the Case School of Engineering departments of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering and Computer Data Sciences; providing purchasing support; and ensuring compliance with university financial procedures. * Perform complex and varied bookkeeping and accounting duties as they relate to coordinating and processing graduate student compensation from initial faculty request through submission to university payroll. POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Associate Dean of Alumni Relations and Development has primary responsibility to provide the strategic leadership of a comprehensive advancement program for the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing's highest strategic priorities that impact the school's future and national reputation. The associate dean is responsible for leading the national and international leadership gifts program, which includes major and principal gift strategies and opportunities. Review all grant applications submitted by the College of Arts and Sciences. (40%) Coach-specific team positions under the direction of the head coach. Instruct individual athletes on the fundamentals of the sport, application of strategy, and proper techniques. Assist with strength and conditioning program implementation, opponent scout, and team travel logistics.
(40%) Instruct classes in the Athletic Department, specifically PE 196 Varsity Athletics classes and/or PE 180 Varsity Conditioning classes. Prep work for the class could include film evaluation, practice planning, conditioning/workout planning, game day coaching, and travel with the team to away games. PE 196 and PE 180 classes are regularly scheduled and have a grade option of A-F, or Pass/No-Pass. AAI's are responsible for assigning grades at the end of the term based on standards spelled out in an established syllabus for these courses.
(20%) Assist in developing effective recruitment strategies, managing an assigned recruiting territory, following up on prospective student-athletes, and researching and targeting high schools to visit. Other duties may be performed within the title of administrative work, such as game management, facility management, fundraising, resident hall supervision and Athletic department coordination with the resident halls.

We want to take this moment to acknowledge that Southern Oregon University is located within the ancestral homelands of the Shasta, Takelma, and Latgawa peoples who lived here since time immemorial. These Tribes were displaced during rapid Euro-American colonization, the Gold Rush, and armed conflict between 1851 and 1856. In the 1850s, discovery of gold and settlement brought thousands of Euro-Americans to their lands, leading to warfare, epidemics, starvation, and villages being burned. These treaties ceded most of their homelands to the United States, and in return they were guaranteed a permanent homeland reserved for them. Job Description
We are looking for writing tutors, graduates with a degree in English/writing, or writing professionals to help with our asynchronous (and synchronous) writing services.
This writing service consists of writing essay reviews that fall in line with Upswing's tutoring philosophy of helping students become better writers, as well as the ability to meet synchronously with students via our virtual classroom. We are not looking for proofreaders or editors. You should be familiar with tutoring methodology, and love working with students who are developing critical thinking skills. Writing Center experience is highly preferred.
Position Requirements and Details:
1+ year of college/university Writing Center tutoring (and training) experience.
Fast and reliable Internet, access to MS Word/Google Docs and a laptop/desktop computer.
3.5 GPA or higher with a transcript that demonstrates success in a writing intensive program.
Commitment to 15-25 hours per week during surge periods (approximately February 1 - May 15)
Familiarity with the Socratic method of tutoring, which prioritizes inquiry and higher order concerns.
Provide thorough, insightful, actionable written feedback to student essays/writing assignments.
Comfortable with reviewing a diversity of writing i.e. health sciences, argumentative essays, history and student work that may address controversial subjects i.e. politics/religion.
Once hired, expect to onboard between 2-5 business days.
Asynchronous tutoring pays $13 per hour; synchronous tutoring pays $15 per hour.
