  • Growth Marketing Lead

    Primer 4.6company rating

    San Francisco, CA job

Fixing our K-12 education system is a civilizationally-important problem. We believe that all of our problems - including the ones that dominate the headlines - are downstream of education. We have a simple thesis on how to solve it: empower 1,000's of educators to launch microschools in their communities. We believe the historical tradeoff between price (tuition) and quality is a false dichotomy. PrimerOS automates and eliminates much of the costs of traditional schools. Microschools have a structural advantage - asset-light real estate - which means much lower capex and opex. You put it together, and you get something that's never existed before: a world-class education that's accessible to normal American families and can rapidly scale. About the Role This is a hands-on growth marketing position that combines campaign execution, experimentation, and performance analytics. You'll own the end-to-end execution of growth campaigns, including writing and sending performance-oriented campaign copy, managing marketing automation workflows, optimizing web and funnel experiences, and using data to inform iteration and improvement. The role blends Salesforce Marketing Cloud execution, campaign testing, web optimization, and new market launch support with a strong analytical mindset. Responsibilities Own and execute outbound marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and other channels, from copy development through activation and performance analysis Manage and optimize website and landing pages using Webflow and WordPress, including content updates and conversion improvements Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests across email campaigns, website experiences, and conversion funnels, with the ability to write and refine performance-driven copy Build and maintain marketing automations and lifecycle workflows in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Monitor and report on performance metrics including attribution, pipeline contribution, and funnel conversion rates Partner with Sales/Admissions teams to optimize the MQL-to-conversion process and improve lead quality Manage relationships with contractors and agencies (copywriters, paid media specialists, Marketing Cloud implementers) while maintaining ownership of core systems Create campaigns and edit copy to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with campaign goals Translate analytics and experiment results into clear recommendations and implement improvements What we're looking for 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth, or lifecycle roles with direct ownership of campaign creation, activation, and analysis Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Webflow, with working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta platforms Strong analytical and systems-thinking abilities with experience designing experiments, interpreting data, and building processes from scratch B2C marketing experience in trust- and education-heavy funnels, ideally at smaller companies (100-300 employees) where you were the marketing owner or on a small team Solid copywriting skills with ability to write campaign emails and web copy Bias toward action and ownership-comfortable being both strategic and hands-on, working independently as a quiet executor Why this role may not be a fit You're expecting or desiring to manage a team. This is an independent contributor role for the foreseeable future. You're primarily a creative copywriter looking for a content-focused role rather than marketing operations and systems work Your experience is exclusively at large enterprises with specialized roles rather than scrappy, do-it-all environments You're seeking a B2B SaaS role and lack experience with consumer marketing, education-based funnels, or slower-to-adopt markets You prefer to delegate technical implementation rather than logging into platforms and building systems yourself You're uncomfortable with heavy analytical work, experiment design, or translating data into recommendations

  • Product Designer

Role Overview We're looking for our first product designer to join the team. Unlike traditional edtech companies, we operate real schools - from sourcing real estate and hiring teachers to designing the spaces where learning happens. At Primer, design shapes everything - the mobile app families use, the digital tools that help teachers connect and plan, the daily experiences that guide students' learning, and even the signage and interior design of our campuses. This role is based in our San Francisco office, working closely with our executive team on challenges that extend far beyond screens. What You'll Do Primer faces some of the hardest (and most exciting!) problems in product design. We're building experiences that have to feel effortless and human while supporting the messy, magical reality of school. You'll take real stories from students, families, and teachers and turn them into systems, environments, and interfaces that make learning feel natural and alive. You'll lead projects from the earliest research to the final polish. You'll work across disciplines, clarifying goals, refining copy and tone, and sweating the small stuff so every detail feels intentional. You'll help set our design standards, raise the level of craft, and shape how design influences everything we build. What We're Looking For 3+ years of product or UI/UX design experience. A portfolio that shows exceptional design polish - strong visual taste, attention to detail, and a modern, cohesive aesthetic. Experience owning projects end to end - from concept through high-fidelity execution. Strong sense of language and consistency - able to refine copy, tone, and visual details so everything feels cohesive and intentional. Comfortable moving fluidly between visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking. Designers who balance insight with intuition - comfortable making decisions without over-relying on formal UX research. Excited to work on-site in San Francisco. Something Extra: We value diverse backgrounds - whether in real estate, interior design, data visualization, compliance, or something entirely different. Unique perspectives make us better. What It's Like Here You'll start with a hands-on project and spend a week as a teaching assistant at one of our school sites to understand how our schools actually operate. Product, design, and engineering sit together, so you can walk over with questions or hop on quick huddles. You'll participate in weekly design reviews with non-technical stakeholders and gradually take on more complex projects, running user research and contributing to our design system. By 90 days, you'll participate in quarterly planning and track the impact of your shipped projects. We eat free lunch together daily and maintain a supportive culture that makes complex work manageable. Why Join Primer We're building something really hard-a technology company that operates real schools. The design challenges are incredibly varied, the mission is meaningful, and you'll use every skill in your toolkit. Watch our CEO Ryan talk about the inspiration, the challenges, and the impact we're having: YouTube Interview We believe in staying lean and outperforming through smart use of tools, including using AI when it amplifies human connection. As a fast-growing startup, we offer salary commensurate with experience, plus significant equity and comprehensive benefits including 100% health insurance, life insurance, and daily lunch.

    San Francisco, CA job

Primer is an ad management tool for mobile apps that puts the entire user experience, from ad impression to purchase, into a performance marketer's hands. Your days blend meaningful patient interactions with strategic program building: Clinical Care (Average 8 Patients Daily, 4 Days/Week) Provide dementia assessments using validated tools (Clinical Dementia Rating Scale, Functional Assessment Staging Tool) Develop person-centered care plans addressing root causes: nutritional deficiencies, infections, toxins, vascular health, hormonal imbalances Work within the Bredesen Protocol framework (comprehensive lifestyle medicine proven to reverse cognitive decline) See Medicare-eligible patients (65+) with mild cognitive impairment through moderate dementia, typically accompanied by supportive family members Conduct follow-ups every 6-12 weeks, building healing relationships where patients and families are genuinely grateful Program Leadership & Community Development (Especially Heavy in First Months) Deliver presentations at senior centers, assisted living communities, and adult day programs Build formal partnerships with Area Agencies on Aging, respite providers, meal services, and transportation organizations Establish CMS-approved contracts with community partners to create comprehensive support infrastructure Oversee Care Navigators who provide 24/7 helpline support for patients and caregivers Position the practice as San Diego's destination for evidence-based cognitive health Conduct provider education and professional networking events Contribute to peer-reviewed research and track quality metrics for CMS reporting What Makes This Unlike Any Other NP Role World-Class Mentorship: Receive 3 hours of weekly training from Dr. Dale Bredesen (the pioneer who created the ReCODE Protocol for reversing Alzheimer's) plus daily collaboration with the practice founder. This is the best mentorship imaginable in the dementia reversal space. Patients Actually Improve: Published research from this practice demonstrates cognitive gains, not just slowed decline. You'll hear families express profound gratitude for getting their loved ones back. This is the fulfillment most healthcare providers went into medicine seeking but rarely experience. Sustainable Practice Model: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (office closes 4pm Fridays). One full admin day weekly. Sustainable 14-16 billable hours per week, not the 18-19 patient/day burnout typical in managed care. Sustainability (for patients, practitioners, and the business) is a core organizational value. The structured schedule even allows you to maintain weekend call shifts elsewhere if desired for additional income. Federal Innovation Platform: You'll be implementing a Medicare alternative payment model as part of an 8-year national study shaping policy for millions of Americans. This positions you as a healthcare leader at the intersection of clinical excellence, federal policy implementation, and paradigm-shifting dementia care. Who You Are Non-Negotiable: You genuinely love working with elderly patients. Dementia patients repeat themselves, can be resistant to recommendations, and do pass away. You need to find them endearing, funny, and deeply worthy of your compassion and creativity. If you don't authentically enjoy the geriatric population, this isn't the right fit. Required Qualifications: Active California Nurse Practitioner license Passion for integrative medicine and root-cause approaches beyond pharmaceuticals Comfort with public speaking, relationship building, and serving as the face of this program through community presentations and networking Ability to work in-person at Encinitas clinic (negotiable flexibility for 1-2 remote days/week after ramp period for exceptional candidates) Preferred (But Trainable): Geriatrics or dementia care experience (though passion matters more than years) ReCODE 2.0 Practitioner Training by Dr. Dale Bredesen (employer will pay the $2,000 training cost for qualified candidates without this certification) Bilingual Spanish/English to serve San Diego's diverse population Marketing, outreach, or program development experience in healthcare settings 3+ years post-licensure experience (though exceptional new graduates will be considered at $115K with 3-year MD oversight available in-house) Comprehensive Compensation Package Base Salary: $115,000-$125,000 (flexibility for experienced candidates who can see higher patient volume) Benefits from Day 1: 401(k) with tiered matching up to 4% Health insurance up to $400/month after 90 days (Covered California small business plan) PTO: 40 hours after 12 months, scaling to 80 hours after 2 years Sick time: 40 hours annually ReCODE 2.0 Practitioner Training paid by employer for qualified candidates ($2,000 value) Performance-based quarterly/semi-annual bonuses tied to SMART goals (revenue generation, patient outcomes, program growth) Growth Opportunities: As the program scales to potentially 3 NPs, leadership roles and increased compensation become available. The practice philosophy is "increase in compensation comes with increase in responsibility." You'll also have opportunities for research publication authorship, conference speaking, and thought leadership in dementia care. The GUIDE Program You'll Lead You'll implement nine CMS care delivery domains creating comprehensive support for dementia patients and their caregivers: Comprehensive Assessment: Dementia staging, medical/psychosocial needs evaluation, caregiver burden assessment (Zarit Burden Interview) Person-Centered Care Planning: Individualized roadmaps addressing all identified needs Care Coordination: Interdisciplinary team communication across all providers Care Navigation: Supervise team members who connect patients to medical care AND community resources (meals, transportation, respite, home health) 24/7 Helpline: Human support (not AI) for patients and caregivers during crises Caregiver Education & Support: Training programs, support groups, one-on-one guidance Respite Services: Coordinate Medicare-funded respite care (up to $2,500 annually per patient) giving caregivers critical breaks Health-Related Social Needs: Screen and address food insecurity, housing instability, transportation barriers, utility difficulties Community Partnerships: Maintain CMS-approved contracts with respite providers, meal services, transportation organizations, Area Agencies on Aging Why This Matters Beyond Your Patients Conventional medicine tells families that Alzheimer's is inevitable and irreversible. This practice proves otherwise. You'll be contributing to a body of evidence that cognitive decline can be prevented and reversed through comprehensive interventions addressing root causes. You'll be part of changing how America understands and treats one of the most devastating diseases of our time. The federal GUIDE Model runs through 2032, providing 8 years of opportunity to shape Medicare dementia care policy at national scale. Your work will generate data, case studies, and research that validates integrative approaches and influences healthcare delivery for millions. Your Support System You'll join a small, phenomenal team (3 full-time staff currently) including the practice founder, a fellow NP trained in this model (6-week ramp precedent), front desk staff, Latin American remote support team, and health coaches. You'll have access to an in-house MD for oversight if needed (California requires 3-year MD supervision for new NPs), a Florida billing partner handling all Medicare templates and compliance (4% fee), and ongoing collaboration with Pacific Neuroscience Institute (cutting-edge imaging and research at Providence St. John's Santa Monica). Ready to make Alzheimer's reversal your life's work? This is not typical Nurse Practitioner work. This is healthcare leadership for someone who believes cognitive decline doesn't have to be inevitable. If you're passionate about helping families say "I got my loved one back," if you're drawn to integrative medicine and root-cause healing, and if you genuinely love working with the elderly population, this is your opportunity.

  • User Acquisition Manager

    Primer 4.6company rating

    San Francisco, CA job

Primer is an ad management tool for mobile apps that puts the entire user experience, from ad impression to purchase, into a performance marketer's hands. Our team started as growth consultants, and while working with clients, we noticed that users abandon mobile apps when the specific need that brought that user into the app is neglected in favor of a one-size-fits-all experience. This translates into low conversion rates and difficulty acquiring users through paid channels. Now, we're building the tool that will solve this problem. Primer's ad management tool for Facebook creates custom purchase funnels for every ad. Marketers can measure the effectiveness of these custom experiences and test or change them anytime - without writing code, involving engineers, or waiting for an app release. Primer empowers marketers to give users what they want. Job Description As a User Acquisition Manager, you will be a vital member of the team here at Primer. You will use the ad management tool we've built to acquire customers for our clients, and you'll have the unique opportunity to dynamically optimize the in-app experiences of the customers you acquire. Challenges: Launch, manage, and optimize Facebook (and Instagram) ad campaigns for mobile apps. Design and implement new user flows within our clients' mobile apps to maximize conversion to purchase. Communicate directly with clients to report on results, define priorities and next steps, and manage expectations. Write compelling copy for ads and flows. Create ad images and visual assets used in flows. Provide feedback to our product team about the highs and lows of using our ad management tool. Working closely with the Director of Paid Acquisition to scale our clients' campaigns profitability. Qualifications 3-4 years of experience directly managing ad campaigns on Facebook, including mobile app install ad campaigns. Ideally, you've personally managed budgets of $100K or more per month on Facebook ads. Experience marketing a product visually. This could mean you've built landing pages before or designed email blasts, but fundamentally you get what's compelling and what makes people click (and then buy). Experience extracting learnings and actionable next steps from data. You're comfortable in Excel and know how to build a pivot table. Fluency in the language of conversion metrics. You already know what CPI, CVR, and CPA mean. You can optimize and iterate in your sleep. Familiarity with the principles of tracking & attribution, particularly on mobile. Experience working directly with lots of different types of people, from highly technical engineers to designers to salespeople to external vendors. You believe in testing twice and launching once. Additional Information Nice-to-have Experience: Experience working at a small start up where you had to wear lots of hats and occasionally drink from a fire hose. Experience working at an ad agency or consultancy. Experience doing direct response advertising beyond Facebook: Twitter, Adwords, Youtube, etc. Experience working at a company with a mobile tech focus. Perks: Great SF location in the heart of SOMA close to public transportation (Bart/Muni/Ferries), restaurants, and nightlife. Competitive salaries with early-stage stock options. 100% Health, Dental and Vision premiums paid for the employees and dependents. Pick your own equipment including a pair of Bose headphones. Friendly dogs are allowed in the office. Public transit reimbursement.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Implementation (Contractor)

Contractor Opportunity We're a fast-growing K-8 microschool network looking for a contractor to help us stand up Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next and Data Cloud. The work: Stand up Marketing Cloud Next end-to-end: connectors, data model, identity resolution, core segments, scoring logic, and the plumbing back to Sales Cloud. Once the foundation is in place, our team will handle journeys. What we need: Hands-on Marketing Cloud Next (Core) implementation experience Strong Data Cloud setup + modeling skills Comfortable working with a small RevOps team Available for a focused 4-8 week project Context: We're scaling and need proper MQL/SQL stages, behavioral triggers, and clean handoffs for our admissions funnel.
