The Opportunity

Spearhead the local site's administrative management team, meticulously selecting team members and aligning their responsibilities to drive the achievement of practice goals.

Exemplify Vituity's Partnership Principles by fostering open communication and transparent decision-making, such as conducting annual reviews of administrative stipends and scheduling preferences.

Monitor operational and quality metrics and implement Vituity initiatives and operational programs to continually improve performance.
Continuously assess and improve operational processes, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Monitor site financial performance and identify and create new areas for growth and revenue.
Develop an expertise and understanding of the yearly budget, financial performance measures and monitoring systems, and billing and reimbursement issues / systems.
Improve patient census and billing practice statistics to optimize reimbursement for the practice.
Maintain awareness and interactions with payers such as significant IPA's, Medical Groups, Foundations, ACO's associated with the hospital / health system.
Execute efficient recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new providers, ensuring the practice is staffed with highly qualified professionals.
Provide learning and development opportunities and mentoring to providers and staff to enhance their clinical acumen, leadership skills and overall professional growth.
Evaluate the performance of physicians and PA / NPs in compliance with Vituity policies and guidelines.
Monitor physician competencies with progressive improvement using appropriate metrics. Counsel, suspend, or remove staff from the schedule as necessary in compliance with Vituity polices / guidelines.
Actively participate in contract negotiations in conjunction with the Regional Director.
Develop, foster, and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with hospital leadership, nursing staff and other healthcare team members.
Ensure practice is appropriately represented and demonstrates their value through leadership roles (as applicable) and/or participation with hospital management, medical staff leadership, Medical Executive, Medical Staff and other hospital committees, and within the local community.
Required Experience and Competencies
Licensed physician as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency through an accredited residency program required.
Maintain membership and privileges on Hospital's medical staff and comply with and abide by the bylaws, rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of Hospital's medical staff where services are being provided required.

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year

MEDICAL ASSISTANT - INSTRUCTOR - FULL TIME - MONDAY-FRIDAY
Full Time Instructor to teach morning and evening classes Monday-Thursday with additional administrative hours. 5 morning or afternoon classes and 2 evenings a week.
Job Summary
The Full-Time Instructor (FTI) works under the direct supervision of the Associate Director (AD) and with support from the Program Chair and Regional Campus Director. In this role, you will instruct students the standardized Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and electronically record assignments, actively promote student retention, support externship activities as applicable, and perform related work as required.

Requirements
Full Time Instructors must meet one of the two qualifications as stated below. Any exception will be reviewed on an individual basis and must be approved by the SVP of Operations.
Graduation from a program recognized in the content area or program field by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the program field or content area in which they teach. Additionally, the faculty member possesses a minimum of three (3) years (within the past seven years) of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the content area in which they teach; and holds or is able to obtain within 90 days of start date of employment
A nationally recognized certification from the following list: RMA from AMT; CMA from AAMA; CCMA and/or CMAA (from NHA)(depending on course taught); NCMA from NCCT; and a current license, certification or other credential as required by local, state and/or federal laws to work in the field OR
A minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience, as described above, for those instructors who are not graduates from an accredited program in the field in which they teach. Additionally, must hold a current license, certification or other credential as required by local, state and/or federal laws to work in the field
Schedule includes teaching 5 mornings and 2 evening classes a week
Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum
Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment
Ability to use current technology to maintain student records, e.g., Microsoft Office, CampusVue
Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames
Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor
Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum, preferred
Schedule includes teaching afternoons and evenings, plus additional administrative duties
