The Catering Services Director is responsible for planning and leading the entire catering operation across multiple units or in a large account. The Catering Services Director will be responsible for the Catering team, planning, and completing catering orders and special events. Additionally, the Catering Services Director will be responsible for the budgets and financial goals of the department.
Job Responsibilities
? Coordinate total catering operations to include duties such as booking events, supervising teams, developing, selecting, and costing menus, pricing, hiring, and departmental administration
? Be responsible for all aspects of preparation, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations
? Develop and implement catering solutions to meet customers? needs
? Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
? Develop and implement annual comprehensive marketing plan for catering, including but not limited to collateral, sales strategies, and marketing budgets
? Establish and implement service and presentation standards for all catering operations, implement processes to ensure compliance and consistency
? Implement new services to support base business growth and client retentions
? Stay ahead of and advise clients, customers and staff on current catering trends and products
? Facilitate the delivery of prepared food built from banquet event orders
? Participate in sales process and negotiations of contracts and assist clients in planning special events
? Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering standards are followed
? Responsible for setting and delivering sales, food, and labor targets
? Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
? Responsible for components accounting functions including accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
? Ensure compliance with all food, occupational and environmental safety policies

Qualifications

As a Supervisor, Clinical Services at ICON, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily activities of the clinic and of clinic staff. You will ensure that the clinic meets clinical trial requirements in accordance with study protocols, SOP's, and ICH-GCP standards.
Location: 100% on site San Antonio TX
What you will be doing:
* Implement and manage daily Clinic activities ensuring all procedures are managed in accordance with appropriate regulatory guidelines or industry standards (e.g. GCP, HIPAA, OSHA).
* Communicate and participate in meetings with the clinic, recruiting, and study management teams as needed to plan for screening, on-study, or outpatient visits.
* Be knowledgeable of all assigned studies that are planned or being actively recruited/enrolled.
* Promote an environment where team achievement is regarded and supported by regular coaching, performance measurement and feedback.
* Facilitate individual professional development of employees within the clinic
* Provide guidance/insight on aspects of clinical operations as well as contingency planning.
* Communicate team and individual goals and expectations to ensure direct reports understand their responsibilities.
* Responsible for managing the performance of staff, including providing input into salaries, as well as nominations for promotion.
* Building teamwork and improving process and productivity by working within and across functional areas.
* Be a point of escalation (internal) for resolution of issues and conflicts.
* Develop positive professional relationships with key internal and external customers and suppliers.
* To undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time from other Clinic Management, Clinical Study Managers, and/or Principle/Sub Investigators (Sub-PI)
* Ability to identify and hire strong candidates through the hiring process.
Your profile:
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* 3+ years of experience in clinical research operations, with significant exposure to early phase trials and screening/eligibility work
* Minimum 1 + year of supervisory or lead experience managing people
* Prior experience in process improvement / QA projects preferred
* Demonstrated knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA, relevant regulatory bodies, and IRB processes
* Strong skills in protocol review, eligibility assessment, medical/clinical documentation, and source data verification
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work cross functionally
* Strong organizational and critical thinking skills; capacity to juggle competing priorities and adapt to changing demands in fast-paced environment

As a Service Supervisor, you will oversee service operations for The Wave to supervise driver performance, train drivers, support riders, de-escalate conflicts, and manage incidents when they occur. This is a full-time, shift-based position requiring approximately 40-45 hours per week (8-9 hour shifts) in-person based out of our Mobile, AL location. While standard schedules are provided, this role does require flexibility to work occasional evenings, Saturdays, and extended hours as business needs arise.
What You'll Do:
Conduct regular performance evaluations of drivers, providing feedback and coaching to improve service quality and efficiency.
Develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing drivers.
Handle customer service issues, resolving complaints and making decisions to promote passenger satisfaction.
Prioritize operational issues as the real-time point of contact and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise
Go to the scene of accidents and incidents to manage processes and protocols
Diligently work collaboratively with a broad interdisciplinary team to scale operational processes, systems, and tools to drive rapid growth
Safely and courteously, operate lift-equipped vehicles to transport elderly and/or persons with disabilities
Learn the fundamentals of Via operations and related safety procedures
Perform the routine operation of vehicles, including pre- and post-shift inspections
Who You Are:
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in transportation services or comparable industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in transportation, logistics, or related field preferred.
At least 25 years old
Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Passenger Endorsement with a clean driving record.
An effective communicator and holds excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to handle stressful situations diplomatically.
Proficient in using a tablet and standard office software (e.g., Google Suite).
Possess good knowledge of the city and community of Mobile, AL
Are able to operate a wheelchair accessible vehicle within standard safety guidelines to ensure public safety
Able to deal effectively and courteously with all customers and the public
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Successful completion of a drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check is mandatory for employment.
